Xanders pov
I waited for what seemed like forever for Luna in the cramped room, filled with millions of decorations. 💡💡The L.E.D lights were starting to hurt my head as they were becoming too bright. The books seemed to be caving inwards and piling more and more. The window seemed to be calling me.
The way it creaked from the wind, as if it was saying open me to escape. Or release now for freedom. 🪟
I walked up slowly, step by step. Breath by breath and turned the windows knob. I rapidly searched my pockets for a cig. I found one. 🚬Only one. My therapist told me to keep one if I were to have any. Never to keep a pack on me. So I reached for my lighter and couldn't find it in any pocket or waistband.
So I searched the floor, I patted and swept under books and stands. Then under Lunas sweater I found the lighter. It was on the floor untouched in perfect condition.
So I lit the cig and leaned out the window. Blowing perfect O'S as I squinted and let the wind take the smoke.😌
As I blew out another breath of smoke the door to the room opened.
"Xander ? What's wrong?"
She asked with the voice of an angel.
"Nothing, princess." I replied flatly.
"Your doing it again."
"Doing what" I asked intrigued.
"Being closed off."she added as her voice cracked.
I turned my head towards her fully to see tears welling up in her eyes.
I rubbed the cigarette on the lighter and threw it outside then closed the window. I walked towards her got close as if I was going in for a hug and she stepped back one.
" you smell like it too" Luna said with disbelief in her eyes.😦
I laughed in embarrassment.😅
She looked into my eyes and got ready to speak. She stood there trying to use her words for a time then after a while muttered a cuss word and kissed me hard.
I moaned in likeness as she pulled away.😩
"That's the last kiss you'll get if you smoke again." She turned away attempting to walk out the door. Then I held her hand spun her around facing me, then pulled her inside the doorway and locked the door.😈
