Lunas pov(point of view)

After getting out of the shower with Xander, we got dressed again and huddled up under the blankets. I went under as Xander held up the blanket for me and turned on my phone.📱

Luna: It's 4:24am. I whispered to Xander still trying not to wake my Dad.😲

Xander: really?🤔

I nodded faster under the covers.

Breathing heavier I brought my head above the blanket and inhaled deeply as Xander did the same and looked at me. She turned off the lamp on the left side and snuggled into my side. 🫂

Whispering lowly she said...
Xander: Tonight I am the happiest I've ever been. I just thought you should know that. 😌

Luna: do you want to be my girlfriend? I asked looking down at her snuggled into me. She looked up at me with confidence and said yes.😚

🚲Friday afternoon I rode my bike home parked it in the driveway and walked into my houses front door. I dropped my key into the little basket and hung my coat up in the jacket closet. 🧥

I ran upstairs kicking off my shoes at the entrance of my door and jumped into my bed I stared up and inhaled freshly reaching in my pockets for my phone. I texted my bestfriends Darla and Benito texting them about my date tommorw with Xander in our groupchat.😊

As my doorbell rang I ran downstairs and opened it. There stood my beautiful bestfriend Darla Augustine.

She was a tough love type of person and never hesitated to tell the truth. I loved her for her bluntness and persona since the first day we met in middle school. She owned her own black hair business and also had a job at a nail tech industry where she did acrylic nails for customers. We now go to private school together at Westbrook prep along with our other bestie Benito. 😎

Benito was known for his ballet and party dancing around school. He was also a great person to ask for boy advice from as he liked men himself. Although I didn't need any as I was with Xander. 🩰

As I let Darla in I realized she was in a new outfit and I was still in my schools uniform. She looked down at me and smiled.

Darla: I'll pick something out for you Luna cause this won't do it, for where we're going.😉

She smirked as she walked upstairs to my room and opened my closet. I followed behind her watching her pick the outfit. After a few minutes she held the clothes out to me and I took them into the bathroom in the hall. 😌

I quickly changed and fixed my hair and walked to my room in haste.

Walked into my already open room door and stood in a pose.
Luna: TADAA! 😜

Darla: looks very good, who's the designer? She joked as she spun around in my desk chair.

I know had on a black tank top with a white jumper and jeans. I added on white shoes with a black backpack full of women's essentials. Makeup, sanitary pads and ect.

While Darla had on a yellow tube top with a matching cropped yellow jumper. Along with a plaid skirt and a purple purse. She was the fashionista of the group.

We walked downstairs and into her car and drove to the place Darla said she'd take me.

I texted my dad that I was leaving the house seeing that he was not home from work yet when we left. As a message slid down my screen from Xander.

It read:

[How's my favorite girl doing today?]

I smiled ear to ear after having read the text and replied ..
[Out with my friend Darla and Benito, Darlas driving us rn actually to meet up with Benito.]

She typed and answere sarcastically..

[Wow, letting others girls drive you around I see.]

I sent the kissy emoji and reassured her she was the only girl I liked driving me around.

We pulled into the parking lot of a park and getting out of the car Darla signaled that she needed help with something in the trunk.

Luna:what's this for?
I asked her as I lifted blanket of her trunk.

Darla: It's for the picnic, and hold this.

She said passing me a basket full of fruits and candy as she closed the trunk shut.

We then walked holding hands and swinging them in sync, untill we saw Benito running towards us with open arms. He slowed and hugged each of us, asking if we'd had a good drive and lead us to a spot under the tree on a small hill. Giving us the view of the whole park.
