The next's day, Townes came over.

"Hey Townes" I said opening the door

"Hey little Harmon" he said walking in I close the door behind him

I walk into the kitchen with Townes following behide me. He notices my mom.

"She wanted to be here." I said as he sits down across from her

"Coffee?" I asked

"No thanks." He said with a small smile

"So y/n, I believe you said you had a few rules." He said

"Ahh yes, my rules are fairly simple. I will like to travel with my mother and sister. Sense my sister will begin competing in tournament. I believe that it only makes sense. Instead of sending me else where." I said

"Yes i believe you are correct. I agree with this completely." He said smile at my mother

"All I need you to do is sign this." He said handing me a contract. I read it. It was well printed. No hidden words hiding.

I look up at Townes. "Do you have a pen?" I asked

1963, Cincinnati

We were now in Cincinnati, I was looking around the hotel. We walk up to the front desk. I was wearing the black dress that Beth gave me.

"Well, now."

"Welcome." The man said checking us in

We walked into the room, it was quite nice. I turn to the tv the mom had turn on but turned right back off

She goes to sit on the bed

"I asked for a pleasant room, and I believe they gave me one." She said as me and Beth looked at eachother. Beth jumped on the bed and I jumped on the one mom was sitting own

As mom laughed. We got off I put mine, mom, and Beth suitcase in the closet as mom said she will unpack it later

"Where are you going?" Mom asked Beth catching my attention

"To check in." Beth said

"Can I come?" I asked Beth looks at me and she nods

I grab my camera that Townes have given to me. A put the camera with a leather strap around my neck. To take pictures of the tournament. And a note pad to get the names

I walk out with Beth behide me as I hear my mom yell

"Be careful"

Me and Beth walked downstairs. Beth walks up to the check in table.

"I'm Beth."

"Harmon. Kentucky State Champion. Nice to meet you. There are two games a day, and the time control is 120/40. You get two hours to make 40 moves. Welcome to Cincinnati." The man at the table said to Beth

I take a picture of Beth signing in, I back up to take a full picture.

I walk up the man. That I had also caught in my photo clearly asking for his name.

"Thank you." She said as she waits for me. I turn around and walk up to her.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting." I said looking at the photo I had took

"It okay. Did you get good photos?" She asked

I nod, we walk back up the stairs and we hear a voice
