Marinette, was now full with sadness all over her face and Tikki felt like she couldn't do anything to make her best friend's dreams come true. Until there was loud sounds from above. Marinette's eyes went wide and a looked up and squinting her blue bell eyes as if that could help her get a clearer view. She saw blurry lights exploding and was fascinated. She hesitated whether she wanted to find out what that was or not but she made the decision without warning Tikki. Marinette got up fast and was racing to the surface.

"MARINETTE DON'T!" Tikki shouted but it was no use. Marinette didn't hear her. She was too focused on finding out what the lights were.
While she swam out of her grotto, Sebastian saw her heading towards the surface. He was just about to go talk to her thinking he could knock some sense into her.

"Oh no what does she think she's doing?!?" Sebastian said with worry in his voice

Marinette finally made to to where water meet air and broke it. Her head peaking out with curiosity and fear. In her thoughts she kept thinking how she had just broke the rules to never go up to the surface but also how free she felt. She looked up to see colorful lights and how loud it was and she didn't realize how sensitive she could be with these loud sounds. Booming left and right. Until something huge came from behind her, she quickly moved out of the way and what it was, was this big ship. She had never seen one so close out on the surface and only saw the ones that were sunken. Her whole face lit up with excitement and she jumped through the water and rode with the waves to the ship that lied ahead. The second she got close enough to the ship, she used her arms to climb up to see the humans since she had never seen one before. She hoped in a little lifeboat that was attached to the ship and sat in it and was peaking through a little hole and saw all of the humans dancing with the music. Then all of a sudden this cat came and saw Marinette and started licking her. Marinette shocked at first but soon replaced with a little smile and her hands gently petting the cat. The cat was a little black cat and had such pretty cat eyes. Marinette thought this was a cute create indeed.

"Plagg what are you doing?" Adrien said and was walking towards where Marinette was. Marinette panicked and put her body against the ship on the side so Adrien couldn't see her. Adrien picked up Plagg and put him done with a cat toy.

"Adrien, you need to stop fooling around your not a kid anymore and this is why your father didn't want you out here in the first place, you're too irresponsible!" Natalie said.

"Why are you always on my back Natalie! I don't need another parent to do that!" Adrien said with frustration that he almost wanted to cry.

"Adrien...I'm sorry. I just-" Natalie had to think about what she was going to say.

"I just don't want you to turn out like you father and I and I rather you have a better life than us. That's why I want you to look for the girl of you dream to marry with to the throne. I want you to be happy."

"Natalie I understand but for now I wanted to keep my mind off this stuff and that's why I wanted to celebrate my birthday out in the ocean and also in a way...I'm memory for my mother so she could she her son grow up I guess..."

Marinette was touched by listening how he was expressing his feelings and in awe for his mother who had passed away underneath the moonlight hitting her glittering skin. And the more she was listening, the more her heart wanted to be with him, to tell him it's ok, to tell him she could relate like that.

"And I'll find the perfect girl out there someday! I know I will and it will hit me like lightning!" Marinette thought that was cute and giggled a little, putting her hand over her mouth to muffle out the sound.

But as soon as he said that, there really was lightning, then the wind started to pick up, then it started raining and now the storm was only starting.

"ALL HANDS ON DECK ALL HANDS ON DECK!!" Adrien Screamed for everyone to hear. Marinette was now rocking in the little life boat and quickly jumped off into the water. She ended up staying near by because part of her wanted to make sure the boy would be ok. Back to the ship, everyone was hustling until there was oil spilled and a lantern falling and breaking which caused it to spread wild fire around the ship. Then the ship hit enormous rocks.

"THE SHIP IS GOING TO SINK!" The caption yelled out, everyone started to evacuate the ship.

"Adrien, we need to get you on a boat-"

"NO! Not until I get everyone else on a boat!"

Adrien was making sure to get everyone off and the ship and some people even jumping in the water.

"Adrien come on!"

Adrien was about to go until he heard meowing.
And sure enough it was plagg stuck in some of the wood of the floor that broke. Adrien ran through the fire reaching to plagg and freed him. Adrien threw plagg in the water and plagg and was trying to swim to one of the boats.

"Come on kitty kitty"

"Here kitty kitty"

Then underwater Marinette pushed Plagg's belly and helped him get close to the boat as close as Marinette then the crew was able to grab him.
Adrien got hit by a pice of wood that fell from the ship and fell straight into the water. He was knocked out and going to drown until Marinette saw him and swam over to get him quickly. She wrapped her arms around his torso and pulled him up to the surface. He was a little heavy but Marinette pulled him close to her making sure his head was peaking out of the water with his head laying on her chest and slightly in the crook of her neck. She looked at him and gave him a little kiss on the forehead and carried him back to shore.
