Chapter One

It has been a month since I saw her at the bar. I regret not approaching her, we could've been going on dates right now. Well, maybe... she has the looks and all but what if she's like a bitch or something then that's a no for me.

"Stop looking at your phone, di mag-aappear yung babaeng hinahanap mo diyan. Baka multo pwede pa." Billy said.

I clicked my tongue due to what he said. I told him about the girl I saw last month, ever since I saw her lagi na akong sumasama kina Billy, hoping I'd see her there but no luck.

"Hoy, magsalita ka naman!"

"Can you stop, Billy Joe? I don't have time for your jokes. Kung wala kang sasabihing maganda, keep your mouth shut!" I shouted, as you guys can tell, I'm pissed. And no, not because I can't see her anymore. It's just my friends, they said I'm delusional for believing I'd see her again.

Rolling my eyes at Billy I sighed deeply trying to calm myself down. "Sorry." I whispered before I head to the kitchen where I saw Terrence eating a fried chicken from KFC I bought earlier before I went here. My eyes furrowed, he's enjoying the food, my food.

"Bro! Akin 'to e!" I said grabbing the KFC bucket from him. "Go get your own, dude."

Terrence just stared at me, he's probably wondering why I did it or something. "Stop looking." I said.

"Ang damot mo." I heard him say before I leave the kitchen. "It's just a chicken, tataba ka niyan bahala ka. Magiging katulad ka ni Billy--"

"I heard that!" Billy shouted from the other room.

I just shook my head, these two are going to fight again. I sat down on the couch and rested my feet on the other couch that's adjacent to the couch I'm sitting on. This is my everyday life, I don't work, lagi lang ako nandito sa condo ni Terrence. I'm not rich, but my dad is. I just get money from him sometimes, plus he gave me a credit card and I'm only supposed to be using it during emergencies. Like to buy alcohol in case someone wants a drink, to buy clothes whenever I have a date, etc. so basically my necessities. Well he didn't tell me that but I've been doing those ever since I got his credit and he's not saying anything, so I'm guessing it's alright.

While chewing the piece of chicken, I felt my phone vibrated in my left pocket. I immediately answered not even looking at the caller ID.

"Son, where are you?" I heard coming from a deep voice but very calm, my dad. "Today's your mom's birthday, go home and buy a gift for--"

"Which mom?" I asked cutting him off, I currently have two moms, the real mom and the step-mom. They both have the same birthday, which I find really interesting.

My real mom left me with my dad when I was young, maybe 8 or 9. I don't remember it vividly, but it's between those. Why did she leave me? I don't really know. Maybe I do, I just refuse to remember it or even say it. My dad and my mom didn't live together, my grandparents opposed their relationship because my mom wasn't really that rich.

I heard a deep sigh from him. "Your mom, doesn't matter who. They're both your mom, visit her first." He said before ending the call.

With that, I already know where to go... to my real mom.

"Peter, pakibilisan lang po. May trabaho pa kasi ako." Terrence said as soon as we got off his car.

We're buying gifts for my moms right now, I know what they like but I don't know what exactly they'll like, ewan mahirap iexplain.

"This'll be good." I heard Terrence say, I looked around and saw him pointing at the flower. "Doesn't Tita like flowers?" He asked while he has a big smile on his face.
