~Link's POV~
My sobbing was interrupted by soft footsteps, and my body was suddenly hit by the chill of the early morning air. It was harsh. Bitter. Ugh. Why is this happening? It was a childish thought, but I didn't care. Ignoring the footsteps, I forced myself to get up and close the door. My head pounded as I limped even that short distance. I should've slept in today... But how can I sleep if I don't have dreams... I just have nightmares.
I felt a sharp blow to my side. I didn't even have time to scream in agony before recieving another to my head. It was the pain that made you feel sick, and I could taste the metallic flavour of my own blood mixed with bile. I fell unconscious.
