You were just about to fall asleep again when suddenly you heard banging on coming from the front door The sounds of wood cracking.. then breaking and a loud thud, loud footsteps could be heard dashing through your house and you would have thought it was an earthquake if you were oblivious to the situation. something is in your house.
You had spare shoeboxes under your bed, they were behind you but you moved them infront of you to cover yourself better (I'm not gonna make y'all stupid 😒)
another bang - it went to your parents room screams - is mom ok? gun shots, a loud crack and thud, the sounds of ripping - what's happening out there..?
The sounds came to an end but not for long, one after the other it began barging into different rooms.
you heard the bathroom door get broken open, and then the pantry and it wasn't long before it was gonna get into yo- with a loud thud and crack into your door it was there, but.. why could you hear crunching..? You could see a bit from under your bed but not very well - it gets a bit higher near the edge of the covers

It was standing there but why's there.. hair..? You couldn't tell properly but it was soaking blood onto the floor.

You were horrified, it was your mother's decapitated head.
She had an expression of horror on her face Sure she was mean to you at times but she didn't deserve this, not at all.
you had to lay there and stare for a minute before it turned around and left.
You got up from under the bed and walked out into the main area and it was just pure blood shed
Your father's mangled corpse lay on the kitchen island, torso open and organs spilling, infact there were a few of his limbs around other parts of the kitchen and living room.
But your mother's body? Well obviously it didn't have the head because the head's on your bedroom floor but her actual body? It had bite marks around the neck, arms and legs which were cut off but not far from the body. Her head had flesh exposed on the forehead and eyes you could only imagine were gouged out.
You have to leave this place.
You ran back to your room and threw on a quick outfit, actually you nudged the head outta your room cause cmon, you don't want it staring at you.
You grabbed a bag and you filled it with stuff: -food -water -bandages -blanket
That was about it because you wanted some extra space if you found anything cool
And there you were, running out of your house. You ran and ran until you noticed something appear on the back of your hand;
