Bright light blinded her, buzzing sounds awakened herInfirmary, the black organizations infirmary or hospital to be exact
Opening her eyes fully to a nurse hovering above her
"Your finally awake" she said with a smile
Trying to sit up but a needle pinched against her skin, it was a IV that was connected to a transfusion of some water liquid
She knew it wasn't water, but what she did know is she would be here long enough till the water was empty from the bag and into her blood stream
"What happened" she asked
to where a voice form behind answered
"Your system was filled with drug substances which made you pass out" Vermouth said crossing her arms with a disapproval face
Juliet face turned annoyed and looked at the other side
"Well, you have one more bag after this one finishes" the nurse said laying out the next bag
"Another one" juliet's eyes slightly widened
"Yes, another one and you won't leave until they are finished" Vermouth said shooting her a look
"Matter a fact i'll be sitting right here, watching till the last drop" Vermouth said sitting the chair on juliet's right
Juliet looked at the nurse which the nurse only replied with a smile
What is there to do looking vulnerable and being strapped to some liquid machine

"We're you trying to make me mad" Vermouth asked
Juliet smiled with a scoff
"The tables turned didnt it" Juliet said glancing over Vermouth
Vermouth smiled but faded into seriousness
"Don't ever do that again" Vermouth said giving her signature death threat
Juliet froze, she felt remembrance of that same look happening somewhere
Vermouth noticed her facial expression changed

"Is something wrong" She asked
"No, i was just trying to remember something" Juliet said trying to just shake it off
Vermouth sat quiet, she knew she would remember sooner or later, but now or never is not a perfect time
"Why are you like this" Juliet asked in genuine
She knew what she meant, she knew that she was questioning her genuiness, care, and over protectiveness
"because" vermouth replied with a smile
"that's not an answer" Julie said furrowing her eyebrows
"an incomplete answer" Vermouth said standing up to switch the IV bag

There was a specific questions that burned Vermouth and only one person had the answer
"Who gave you that necklace" She said looking down at Juliet to where Juliet glanced at her necklace
"My mother" she said quietly
"Is she still alive" Vermouth asked her
Oh, how stupid she was right in front of her ridiculing herself
