" hello mother?" I mumbled into the phone
It was early as shit, she acting like I wake up at 730 in the morning
"Hey Honestí, you feel like watching Denny for a few days?" She asked while I sat up
"Watch who?" I asked tryna rethink what she just said
"Watch Denny for me and yo daddy, we tryna have some alone time" she said
"Now ma.. this could've waited til like 9 or 10" I scratched me head
"I needed to know so I can pack uh bag that way she can come to the shop with me" she say as I heard moving in the background
"Ight yeah she can come, don't be over packing now cause I'll send her back real quick" I told her and she started squealing overly loud
"Ight let me wash her up and get her a bag packed, see you later" she mumbled before hanging up
"Who was that?" Amir asked
"My momma" I curled back against him it wasn't cold but his body heat felt too good

"Ouu is that lil Denny" I said opening the shop door
"Hi nesti" she bounce around in her seat
"You ready" I asked leaning on her chair
"Yea and I hungry" she nodded getting up from the chair
"Yo lil ass always hungry" my momma shook her head as Denny stood up
"Ma" Denny mouth hanged
"Denver" ma placed her hands on her waist
"Bye" Denver rolled her neck and started walking to the door
"You want me to help you put her booster seat and her bag in yo car?" My momma asked
"I'm not in my car" I poked my lips out
"Who car you in?"
"Don't worry bout it big momma" I smiled
"Imma show you big momma" she mumbled following behind me and Denver
"Hey Mrs T" Amir rolled the window down
"Hey boy" she smiled while waving
"Come on Denny" I said opening my momma door as amir got out his car
"Why you ain't tell me you had stuff to get out the car?" He asked grabbing the booster seat and suitcase from me
"Cause I could've gotten it myself" I told him watching as he sat the seat up behind the passenger seat and the suitcase in the trunk
"Get in Denny" I mumbled as amir stepped from the door
After helping her get in I buckled the seatbelt across her body
Giving my momma a hug and got in the car hearing Denny singing along to the song Amir was playing
"What you want to eat denden" I asked and she started tapping her chin
"Chicken nug" she nodded
"Ok" Amir mumbled bussing a u turn
"Denden you missed me?" I asked looking back at her
"Uhh I missed you a little" she smiled
"Just a little, that really hurted me" I said and she shrugged
