It was amazing just how much crying you could do in an hour. Your first therapy session seemed to be a success as you could vent about things you never thought you would utter to another person. You chose to leave Yui's office a few minutes early to avoid running into her next client. Throughout the appointment, she had honestly barely said a thing. Nonetheless, her sitting there and listening to every word that had poured out of your mouth gave you all the comfort in the world.
"So I'll text you my availability for next week, yeah?" she said with watery eyes.
It was hard to break down everything in the span of an hour, so your life story ended up being peppered and sprinkled all over the place. One minute you were reliving your kidnapping and the next, you were telling her how you oddly found comfort in hanging out with villains you had met so far. You didn't go into too much detail to spare your co-workers' identities and as well to spare Yui's life. The last thing you wanted was for her to get unnecessarily tangled in all of this.
"Okay sounds good," you nodded. You went in to give her a big hug.
She reciprocated just as tightly, almost squishing out your insides. "Oh and tell this Mystery Guy that he better be taking care of you. I say this as a friend, not a therapist."
In your ramblings, you had even subtly mentioned Dabi. He had become your safe space in all of this chaos.
"I'll pass the message along."
"Okay, until next week, (Y/N)."
You said your final goodbyes and fled the building.

After having another crying sesh in your empty apartment, your stomach finally growled louder than all of your previous cries and snapped you back to reality. You needed to eat but weren't in the mood to cook. Felipe who had been watching you from the coffee table blinked up at you worriedly. Poor thing probably had no idea how to comfort you.
You leaned forward to give him a little peck on his fuzzy head.
"I'm sorry for scaring you," you whispered. "I'm okay now. I'll be even better soon."
One of his little legs tapped against your cheek, as if to almost caress and comfort you. You smiled before scooping him up in your hands and gently placing him back into his cage.
The apartment was awfully lonely without Dabis brooding or Togas screeching giggles. She had also left on the same mission with Dabi. You weren't sure what was going on and as much as you wanted to pretend like you didn't care, you did. You cared a whole lot. Anxiety was creeping around the inner parts of your brain, trying to figure out what Shiguraki was planning. He must be expecting you to fight at his side at some point, right? So when would he finally summon you?
The question kept gnawing in your brain.
*GRRRRYAAAAOOOLLL*
However, for now, you needed to get a bite to eat somewhere. With a groan, you threw on a trench coat and decided to hit up a burger joint that was a few blocks away.
Walking outside was surprisingly nice. The cool night breeze caressed your cheeks and filled your lungs with fresh air. Fireflies could be seen dancing along the window panes of tall skyscraper buildings. There was barely anyone walking outside as well. So far you'd only seen a group of businessmen drunkenly laughing about as they staggered over to the next nearest bar.
Everyone must be scared to go outside.
With the rise in vigilantes and villains running about the city, your latest performance has surely left people on edge. Everyone was on high alert and dared not to push their luck and encounter someone who could possibly hurt them.
