Her Demon

- Chapter Four: Get ready he's coming! -

- Nellie's Pov -

Rosalie rubs her thumb over my knuckles as she drives, and I'm so thankful that her car is automatic because i need this physical contact from her right now. The thought of meeting new people that i have never met before is making my heart race, as well as making my chest feel terribly tight. Rosalie and the cullens may know these people, but i personally don't, and it's setting my anxiety off to all new heights. I just hope Edward isn't there because with how i feel right now, i don't have the strength to hold Lilith back from taking control if she senses i'm in danger.

When Rosalie pulls into the cullens driveway, she shuts the engine off and turns sideways in the seat to look at me. I look at her wide-eyed, not knowing if i can do this right now, but when i see love and protectiveness in her eyes, i feel myself relax slightly. She lets go of my hand then cups my face, caressing my cheeks with her thumbs, and i lean into her touch. I climb over the centre console and curl up on her lap, loving the comfort i am getting from her, making her cooe at me.

After a couple minutes, she practically begs me to trust her, and i nod, feeling like i can trust her even though we only met properly the other day. Fuck anyone that says i'm trusting her to quickly because this is normal for supernatural beings when they meet their mates. If anyone doesn't like how fast our relationship is moving they can fuck themselves with a pointy carrot. Their opinion isn't needed and never will be needed because this isn't their relationship it's mine and Rosalie's.

Rosalie climbs out the car, putting her hand under my butt while i wrap my arms around her neck and legs around her waist. She walks into the house and up to the living room without once using her vamp speed, which im thankful for. When i see three unknown people, i hide my face in Rosalie's cold neck, wanting to hide from them. Rosalie, being the best mate in the world, rubs my back, whispering sweetnothings while she sits down on the couch, sitting me on her lap.

"Nellie, sweetheart. It's okay they won't hurt you. Their friends of ours who are here to help with the Edward and Isabella situation." Rosalie said softly

"Miss Rosalie is right, dear one. We wouldn't hurt you because one, you're Rosalie's true mate. Two, you are a rare supernatural being, which means you are under our protection, and finally, three, you are two of my guards soul mother as well as Rosalie here. So there will be no harm to come to you by our hands." A brown haired red-eyed vampire said, kneeling down by Rosalie's feet

"There you are, sweetheart. All you have to do is listen to what is being said. You don't have to look at any of them or even communicate if you don't want to. You can just stay curled up on my lap with her head in my neck if that is what you want."Rosalie said, rubbing her hand up and down my back

"Just listen." I mumble into her neck

"That's perfectly okay, little one." The brown haired vampire said softly

"It's come to my attention. Edward has come to addicted to Isabella's blood because he won't listen to my orders, has no control over his actions, puts our coven at risk, also he tried to attack Rosalie and Nellie, he will do anything Isabella says and most of all this isn't the first time he has exposed out secret but those humans were disposed of by myself before they could reveal our existence." Carlisle said, shocking me because i honestly thought he wouldn't kill a soul

"And you're only telling us this now!?" Someone roared, making me whimper

"Shut up! You're scaring my mate!" Rosalie snapped coldly

"We couldn't inform you until now due to Edward's gift. Every single one of us had to wait until it was the appropriate time. We have been making sure we stayed on our routine while trying to come up with our own plan to end this once and for all. We can not keep sacrificing our own safety for the one coven member who wouldn't do the same for us." Esme said nervously

"Esme is being truthful. We have all had to deal with this for too long, and now we can't risk it since we have Nellie's safety to think about." Emmett said, sounding a little worried

"C-Can you please n-not fight. You have b-been told me now, s-so there is n-no need to fight." I stutter out

"Nellie is right." Carlisle said, and it sounded like he was behind the couch

"Edward will be back any minute now, so we need to come up with a plan." Alice said, sounding panicked

"Alice, don't panic. I will hide the different scents and block three minds from Edward. Then, when Edward does walk in here, someone needs to grab him before he runs." I said, taking my head out of Rosalie's neck, ready to help deal with Edward

"You can do that!?" Jasper said with a string southern accent

"I can, but it will take a lot of energy, so those three can not move at all because their movement will take more of my energy. I would have to work double time to watch where they go, stay focused, and keep their minds blocked as well as their scents." I said softly, mentally getting myself ready

"We will not move an inch, my dear. We will stay in yoir eye sight unmoving the whole time." The brown haired vampire said with honesty in his ruby red eyes

"Get ready he's coming!" Alice said in panic

"Rosalie, keep a tight hold of me. You are going to be what keeps me grounded." I said softly as i closed my eyes, blocking three minds and scents.
