- Chapter Five: One shock after another -

- Rosalie's Pov -

I hold Nellie against my chest, waiting for Edward to arrive, and i honestly hope he arrives here quickly because i don't know if Nellie is in any pain. Just the thought about my sweet Nellie being in pain is enough for my unbeating heart to clench. Yes, i haven't known her for a long time, but in the day i have known her, she has become my world, and i can't live my existence without her. In my human life, i knew i wasn't attracted to men, but i had to fake it since it was frowned upon to be in same sex relationships. Now, in this day and age, it's okay to be your true self with whoever you want to be with even if the majority of the world are homophobic vile humans. I will not the majority of the world sway my decision to be with my mate because this is Nellie's and I's chance to be happy.

Suddenly, i see her hands turn black, and then i feel her body temperature rise, and all i can do is hope she is right about me keeping her grounded. That's when Aro, Marcus, and Caius's scents vanished, and all i could smell was my family's and Nellie's scent, which means Nellie's plan is working. I kiss her head, whispering it's working in her ear, holding her a little closer to my chest, ready to protect her against anything Edward tries. After a couple minutes, Edward walks into the living room, and immediately, he is held in a head lock from behind by Caius. He looks at everyone shocked, but when he sees Nellie sitting on my lap with her eyes closed, he starts fighting to get free from Caius. Nellie gasps as her body jerks forward, and i quickly turn her around, putting her head in my neck.

"Carlisle, tell them to let go of me." Edward demands making us all snarl at him

"You're in no position to demand anything, Edward. Your behaviour has gotten out of hand, and it stops now." Carlisle said strongly

"I knew that bitch was going to change things! I should have killed her when i got the chance." Edward snarled, staring at Nellie

"Well, you did have plenty of chances, didn't you since you have been sneaking into my dad's home watching Isabella sleep like the creep you are." Nellie said as he hands and temperature went back to normal

"Shut your mouth, you useless human!!" Edward roared fighting against Caius's hold

"Oh Edward, Edward, Edward. You see, i'm not human, so you're a little wrong there. I am what you could call a demon, and since you are going to die at any moment, I'll let you in on a very big secret. I eat damned souls like yours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so i think i will enjoy eating your soul in the pits of hell." Nellie said, standing up and walking over to Edward almost in a predatory way as her eyes went pitch black

"Little one?" Aro said curiously yet with a little fear in his eyes

"Hush, let me take care of this one, and i may let you take care of Isabella." She said, smirking showing her canine like teeth

"You have a deal, little one." Aro said, smirking back at her

"Honey, could you possibly not get my floor filthy." Esme said with a panicked look in her eyes

"Your floor will be perfectly fine. Just let me get on with this, and then we can all relax while he deals with Isabella." Nellie said and pointed to Aro as she said he

"Carlisle, please don't let her do this! I'll change, I'll do anything. Just don't let her do this." Edward begged as Nellie grabbed his head with both hands

"To late for that." Carlisle said without any emotions

I watch as Edward's body suddenly goes limp, and Caius's has to reluctantly hold him up by his throat as a white ball of light travels out of Edward's mouth into the air between him and Nellie. In seconds, Nellie opens her mouth, and the ball of light goes into her mouth, and i see her swallow it down as Caius drops Edward's lifeless body on the floor by Nellie's feet.

"Yum." Nellie said, licking her lips

"That's it?" Emmett asked in shock

"Yes, what was you expecting?" Nellie asked almost coldly

"Screams, thrashing, body parts being throwing, anything but what happened." He said, kinda confused

"No, that wouldn't happen since one he isn't human and two it was just his soul. The only thing that will happen now is me needing a lot of sleep after consuming a vile soul like that basterds." She said, kicking Edward's lifeless body

"We will reschedule Isabella's punishment to tomorrow. We would like you to be present because your father will be on the premises. That may lead to your father being told of our existence, but i have an inkling he may know something about our world." Aro said, surprising all of us

"Why would you think that, sir?" Nellie asked politely

"Think about this logically, my dear. If you are a demon, you must have gotten the gene from either your mother, father, or grandparents. There is a possibility that your father knows all about this and has kept his knowledge quiet." Marcus said thoughtfully

"So you're basically saying my dad could have known about me and everything since the beginning!" She said in shock

"Yes, dear, that's what i'm saying." Marcus said with a small smile

Nellie opened and closed her mouth a couple of times, and then her eyes rolled to the back of her head as her body swayed. I vamp speed over to her and grab her hips, pulling her back against my chest so she doesn't fall to the ground.

"Rosalie, you need to take her to the room we set up in the attic for her. She needs rest and a lot of it since today has been one shock after another." Carlisle said softly
