I've been writing Pixal like P.I.X.A.L but no more, doing that is too tiring. ALSO, Second update this week, whooo!
"Hey, you should go to sleep." Nya called over to me with a calm voice as she lightly shook my shoulder and I jolted fully awake.
I hadn't even noticed I was barely awake, even as I stood still watching the others plan out something I had already forgotten.
I let out a yawn but still gave Nya a shake of my head. I needed to stay awake, I refuse to go to sleep just like that.
"No, I'll stay awake to watch over the tower." Which actually was what I was supposed to do. I just had to look through the security cameras from time to time to make sure nothing would intervene with anything... yet being half asleep, I wasn't doing a good job.
Nya looked at me with sympathetic eyes before offering me her hand. I didn't know what for, so I accepted it without hesitation. Suddenly she yanked me over to a stool, and pushed me down by shoulder, so I was sitting down on it. She gave me a smile before ruffling my hair.
"Just go to sleep, you've done enough. And if there's need for your help, I'll wake you up, alright?" I didn't want to, but just then I let out another yawn. Nya chuckled as a blush of embarrassment washed over me.
"A-alright..." I finally stuttered out, not too sure it was good for me to just sleep... the ninja are in space, and Lloyd doesn't even have his golden powers anymore... Yet I'm sleepy...
Nya gave me a smile before squatting down next to my seat. She faced the direction Pixal was in, who was trying to get in contact with the ninja. I closed my eyes, trusting Nya to let me sleep for a while, when suddenly she let out a yawn as well.
"Are you... tired as well?" I asked, and she nodded, not even trying to hide it.
"A little. Thank god Pixal doesn't need sleep, otherwise we'd be screwed." She added a little joke at the end, and I gave her a quiet chuckle in return.
Yet she still kept smiling, keeping her eyes open as if she was fully awake, while mine kept closing every now and then.
I slowly slid off the stool and settled to sit next to her. Nya glanced at me curiously as I spoke again.
"I fear I'll fall off if I fall asleep." I explained myself as she let out a quiet sound of acknowledgement. Nya changed her position to sit as well, and now the two of us were sitting on the floor together, in silence.
Sooner or later, I closed my eyes for good, wanting to fall asleep so Nya could relax; I had a feeling she wouldn't if I stayed awake.
.
There seemed to be music playing. A slow classical piece that came from... Oh, it was coming from my earphones.
Sitting at my seat in school, the others were all talking and some of the good kids were doing homework or just studying. The teacher was nowhere to be seen.
My eyes were glued to my table. there wasn't really anything of interest on it, but I guess I was just trying to enjoy the music without the chance of making eye contact with anyone.
To my left was the seat of another person, and on the right was a blank wall. I couldn't gaze out the window, because the windows were at the opposite side of the classroom. I wanted to... But I had no real reason to.
Today the classroom felt more calm than usual. Yet everything was still in greyscale, and I could feel nothing.
It was like this every dream I had. First it was quiet, then it would grow loud. I would stare at my desk, waiting for the noise to grow and grow and grow and grow... until I stood up and woke up.
