Everything felt... strange. I was in a completely different place. I could feel the wind brushing against my fur, and I could hear my parents' voices. I opened my eyes, but I couldn't see anything. I could still see the light from outside, but I couldn't see my parents, who were looking at me with utter disbelief.
"It's a blind-born!"
"Let's get rid of him!"
"Wait until he gets older."
"Why?! He's a disgrace to our family!"
"If we let him die, we'd stoop as low as him."
"..."
"Fine. Until then, we can't let him see us as his family. He must never know the outside world, and the world must never know who he is."
"Agreed."
