Chapter 9: Re-route

"The path is blocked" Yeonjun speaks as he slowly stops the car "No way, I'm not getting out of this car" Hueningkai immediately said as he hugged himself "What do you want to do then? Fly?" Beomgyu snaps Soobin slowly rolled the windows down before poking his head out cautiously

"Let's Re-route" Soobin suggests as he sits back down "Hyung that'll take longer...?" Taehyun speaks "The sun is still out and above we'll be fine" Soobin assures looking over to Yeonjun "That's what my friend told me before he dove into a river" Yeonjun shares as he looks back while driving in reverse "Yeah?" Y/n says in curiosity "Yeah and he's gone" Yeonjun finishes his story before turning to the left and continue driving, Soobin wiped off an invisible sweat as he chuckled nervously

Hueningkai sighed in relief as they didn't have to step out of the car anymore

"Do you know another route to the mall, Hyung?" Taehyun questions, looking over to the oldest "Of course I do" Yeonjun replies "But this one might take a little longer" He adds making Taehyun sigh

"If only someone didn't have to whine" Beomgyu grumbles as he crosses his arms "Beomgyu shut up will you?" Soobin snaps "what?" Beomgyu snaps back "You always have something coming out of that mouth of yours" The older male comments in annoyance "And if it does what are you going to do about it? It's true if we just stepped out and walked we would've arrived much earlier" Beomgyu spat back "Then step out! Yeonjun stop driving and let this moron walk to the mall" Soobin grows annoyed, Beomgyu scoffed "What did you call me?" He grows more irritated "This is so dumb" Taehyun groans also growing annoyed "What I can't call you dumb? Are you not one? Can't you see Kai is already scared and all you could think about is saving yourself? Taehyunification?" Soobin mocks making Taehyun turn "Yah" Taehyun warns "Saving myself?! I don't remember using the word I earlier" Beomgyu replied in disbelief "Can you both stop it?!" Yeonjun scolds looking at the rearview "Tell Soobin over here to calm his shit down" Beomgyu complains making Soobin scoff

"I should've left you to die with the Zombies."

"Soobin" Yeonjun warns, Hueningkai was growing anxious "What?" Beomgyu starts laughing as he sits up "Calm down, can you both... cool off' Y/n hesitantly spoke "No Soobin has something to say? Do you hear yourself?" Beomgyu snaps a finger "Hyung stop" Taehyun speaks grabbing Beomgyu's wrist "STOP SCOLDING ME AND SCOLD THAT BRAINLESS SHITHEAD! FEED ME TO THE DEAD?! IS HE INSANE?" Beomgyu raised his voice as he forced his wrist out of Taehyun's grip

"Soobin what the hell?" Taehyun turns to Soobin who was silently boiling in anger, he only replied by rolling his eyes "You know what he needs?"

"HYUNG!"

Hueningkai grabbed Beomgyu's shirt as Taehyun tried to shield Soobin "GET OFF! LET GO OF ME!" Beomgyu raged as he tried to reach Soobin "OH FOR CHRIST'S SAKE" Yeonjun shouted in annoyance "AND YOU'RE TELLING ME I'M THE BRAINLESS ONE?!" Soobin shouts in annoyance "JUST SHUT UP!" Taehyun shouts "NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I'VE GROWN ANNOYED OF YOU I HAVE NEVER THREATENED YOUR LIFE CHOI!" Beomgyu shouted as Hueningkai held him tightly

"Yeonjun" Y/n spoke but was ignored as Yeonjun scolded the people at the back while looking at the rearview

"IF YOU COULD JUST SHUT UP AND BE MORE SELFLESS AND UNDERSTAND WHAT HUENINGKAI FEELS!" Soobin argued

"I- I'm alright! IT WAS OKAY TO WALK PLEASE DON'T FIGHT!" Hueningkai shouted as he forced his eyes shut as he held Beomgyu

"Yeonjun.."

"WHAT I'M SAYING IS JUST FACE THE FEAR FOR A LITTLE IS THAT TOO HARD? IT'S NOT LIKE I'LL LET HIM DIE!" Beomgyu shouted as he pointed at Soobin "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL I WON'T LET HIM DIE!" He snaps

Hueningkai flinched at the topic

"Looks like you'd let him if it was between your life or his" Soobin whispers
