XI- Summer culmination

The 31st of August was never easy, but this year it was different. Each and every year since their mother died, the three of them spend as most time as possible together, but this year, William spend the day organizing his stuff for uni, Callie was at Chloe's and Harry locked himself in his room refusing to talk to anyone.

William left to Scotland leaving Harry and Callie alone, again, this year everything was different, specially Harry, who was grumpy and lonely (by choice)

Caroline had her first solo engagement that day, so her brothers weren't much of a big deal.

The exhibition of Michelangelo in the National Gallery was starting that day, and the Queen thought best to make that event Princess Caroline's first solo engagement

The engagement went as planned, she cut the line, appreciated the painting and talked to men in suits,

"Your Royal Highness, if I may ask, are you the kind that enjoys art and it's history?", wandered one of the men, "I'm usually more interested in the history than in the art itself, but yes, you can consider me one of that kind", she answered as diplomaticly as possible, "So you are a history lover?", he continued, "More like a history fanatic, my brothers adore to tease me about it", the gentleman smiled, "And how are your brothers?", another man questioned, "Very well thank you, running with school things", no one knew William had left earlier for school, so she had to cover it up

"Princess?", her assistant called, "It's time to go", Callie nodded, "Well gentleman it was good to meet you, now I'm afraid I need to leave", they both bowed their head and the princess left facing the flashes and the crowds,

"Princess do you have a boyfriend?"
"Your Highness is it true that Harry smokes?"
"Carol, what do you think about your father cheating on your mother?"
"Princess, are your brothers dating anyone?"
"Princess is it true your dating Theo Lions?"
"Princess..."
"Carol..."
"Your Highness..."
"Princess Caroline..."

Later that day

"I was a bit nervous, but it went as perfect as planned", Callie was talking to Chloe on the phone,
"Girl, for a fist solo engagement you were incredible, have you seen the magazines?",
"No I haven't, you've kept me on the phone for quite some time",
"You can't blame me, this is a big step for you, finally turning into a royal family woman",
"Gosh",

"I heard your mother right now",
"That happens sometimes, specially as I get older",
"She'd be so proud of you 'Cal",
"Do you think?",
"I'm sure",
A tod of silence filled the call
"Hey do you know who wants to see you?",
"No I don't ",
"Your boyfriend"
"First of all, he is not my boyfriend, second, you mean your cousin and third, really!?",
"Yeah, says he can't wait to gaze into your eyes again",
"That makes us two",
"You guys are so cute, it's disgusting",
"Talking about that, someone in the crowds asked me about Theo today, should I be worried?",
"People know you guys have been studying together for quite some time now, they are going to speculate things",
"I guess you're right, I hope you're right",

"Let's go back to the 'he is not my boyfriend' talk, yes he is!",
"Not he's not",
"You guys kissed once",
"Twice",
"Wait what? When!?",
"Last day of school, he came by to say goodbye and kissed me",
"You guys look like Rory and Dean",
"God no!", They chuckled,

"One more thing, how dare you wait the whole summer to tell me that?"
