I never thought I'd be feeling this way It's breaking my heart and I can't explain Love it seems so sweet and so right But it hurts like a storm in the night How can it be the pain that won't go away? A feeling that's pure- But acts like a wound that won't heal Is love something that even exists? Or it's a feeling that just won't go away-

My mind is aching, my heart is sore I can't make sense of what this love is for I thought I'd find shelter in your arms But all the warmth I found was filled with harm- How love can be cruel, like a thistle in bloom? How this feeling so pure can be hard, like a heavy stone in the tomb? Can't believe how much it hurts To know that love can really hurt- My heart's been broken a thousand times before I thought I'd never find someone to love me more But then you came along, you changed my world around And I thought, this time it'll be different, no more tears to drown Looks like I was wrong- I never thought I'd be feeling this way It's breaking my heart and I can't explain Love it seems so sweet and so right But it hurts like a storm in the night
