The next day, Virgil walked into training with a bouquet of yellow flowers in his hand, and his training bag slung over his shoulder.
He was looking for his favorite scouser, Trent. He decided to give the flowers to his friend since he had nothing else to do with them.
Virgil bought them for the sole purpose of seeing the girl, and he thought it would be funny to surprise treat after repeatedly telling him no.
Walking into the changing rooms, Virgil asked Mo if he had seen Trent, to which Mo shook his head.
"What's with the flowers? Are you finally asking Trent on a date?" Mo joked.
Trent walked in right on time to hear Mo's words, "You're finally doing what?"
Virgil turned around and handed the bouquet to Trent, "Here, since you say I don't love you mate."
Trent faked a surprised reaction before breaking out into laughter, "Oh my, Virgil! You shouldn't have."
Mo and Virgil simply laughed along, and Virgil sat down to lace up his boots for training.
