Abigail looked up at the man towering over her, waiting to him to begin his attempt at explaining his two month absence.
Virgil broke his silence, "I didn't except to see you here Abigail."
"I didn't expect to see you here either, yet here we are."
He looked at her with a confused expression, "You didn't expect to see me at one of my club's matches?"
She shook her head, "I wasn't aware it was against Liverpool."
Virgil didn't reply, he simply nodded his head. and looked around before turning back to the girl.
Abigail's patience had ran out by now, and she made it perfectly clear. "Look Virgil, they're waiting on me. We'll talk another time," she said, referring towards Sofia and the other two Arsenal players around to her.
The defender turned around to look at the group waiting for her, and his face immediately fell. Saka and Havertz, both waiting for Abigail beside Sofia.
Virgil turned back to the girl, "If I text you, will you answer?"
Abigail nodded, before giving the man a warm smile and turning to walk back to her friend.
