Inspiration?: "buried treasure"
Initial plan: Romance poem
Time allotted to write: 15 minutes
Freestyle? yes/no: no
Initial title: Pirate eyesFinal title: A Pirates Eyes
A rusted shovel sifts through your eyes,
There is your soul and your brain and the prize.
It waves back and forth like an oceans scene,
Glimmers of hope they sprout out between.
Buried are treasures you wallow below,
I want to find it, to learn and to know.
What secrets you hide beneath that gleam,
I'll shadow them from the worst to be seen.
My love, I grasp at whatever I see,
and pray I can find it wherever I be;just don't lose me in the dead man's sea.

7 minute wonders
PuisiPoems where I have given myself 7 minutes (or more) to write! (I am allowing myself to come up with the concept beforehand)... But realistically hardly any of these were written in 7 minutes I may eventually go back and edit them to be higher qualit...
