Prologue

Shaunella's Pov

Finally, I sighed. I finally outrun from the clutches of my capturers.

I've been running day and night just to escape them. I can't have them capturing me again.

I don't want to go back.

I don't want to go back to that place that I once called home. The home where I feel very living. The home where I grew up. Where I first learn the things I should do to survive this cruel world...

And where I first saw him.

He was the reason how I got my smile back. The reason why I'm always wide awake every night thinking about him.

But only if I can turn back the time and didn't meet him. I wouldn't be in this kind of mess...

I wouldn't be starving for days, always running, and have sleepless nights just to ensure that I'm safe while in my sleep.
I would've been back home helping my mom do the chores while having a nice conversation with her.

But no.

I have to be running in my feet finding a safe place to go just to escape out of his clutches.

I once escape him and I will do it again.
