Since the events of the city of Beautopia things for the trio have been weird, if not more disturbing than usual for starters a psycho deer that went around kidnapping every candy person in the kingdom. Events dealing with him went as so.

(Y/N) fires an entire mag from his pistol, killing the deer even going as far as to dump a second one for good measure as the Candy people push its corpse into the sewers below the kingdom as it's flushed away.
After that, events went as such, Cake nearly getting killed by a tiny assassin cat named Me-Mow which (Y/N) grabbed and yeeted away like a baseball, watching a snow golem being friendly with fire wolves, Cake wanting to go to space for some reason with a banana man, the group finding an old suitcase full of tapes of Ice Queen with one of them revealing to (Y/N) that the Ice Queen was once an archeologist he knew by the name of Simone Petrikov, Fionna and Cake sneaking into Marshall's house to play hide and seek and Fionna seeing something she shouldn't have, Cake going to the library to try and read about chromicorn history, Fionna going out of her way to find cyclops tears just so she wouldn't have to deal with the clown nurses, and finally helping ghost prince finally pass onto the other side. One common thing about all of these that (Y/N) noticed was, Fionna stopped using swords.
Which leads to today's events, starting off with Cake telling a bedtime story to Fionna with (Y/N) once again being invited for the day.

Each raindrop that hit her weakened and shrank her... until her molten babies towered over her... and realized it was their turn to protect her. They gathered around her shielding her from the rain... but it transformed them back into their original boulder form.
