When last we left off, Aizawa questioned what Zs'Skayr told him and the students. Now, we find Ben, Mina, and Kyoka sat down on the couch in front of the Pros while their classmates watch from the side. One of them, Tokoyami, watches with a strange look on his face

Sero whispers at him "Tokoyami, you good?"

Tokoyami: I sense... darkness

"Okay." Aizawa begins "You three all know Zs'Skayr for a reason unknown to the rest of us, so I'm hoping you can answer the questions crawling around in everyone's minds" Ben sits in the middle, resting his head back on the cushion while Mina and Kyoka rest their heads on their arms on the opposing couch arms "He mentioned being trapped in the Omnitrix system. I want to know what the hell he meant, so spill"

Kyoka: Sensei, don't you think this is unnecessary?

Aizawa: Either you tell me now, or you tell me when you get back to Earth after I expel all three of you

Audible Gasps

Momo: Sensei, that is completely--

Ben: It's fine, Momo

Momo looks at him in shock "But--"

Ben looks up at Aizawa with a cold gaze "You want the truth, Aizawa?" He looks at the rest of his class, who silently warn him not to do or say anything stupid. Regardless, he stands up and glares back at Aizawa "Here's the truth; Shapeshifting into different aliens at will isn't a quirk, it's the main function of the Omnitrix itself. It's not a power regulator or anything like that, both of the gadgets that were on both mine and my grandpa's wrists were the reasons for us having these abilities at all. You ever try deactivating my powers and it never worked? That's why"

Everyone who wasn't already aware of this is unable to believe what they're hearing, but Aizawa keeps up his serious gaze "And Zs'Skayr?"

"Is essentially the true form of Ghostfreak" Everyone is stunned into silence, but Ben ain't done "Grandpa Max always warned me about using him. First time I did, I had a decent idea as to why. He always felt different than the other aliens... Like disturbingly different. I'm sure All Might can attest to that considering he was one of grandpa's sidekicks"

All Might: That form did weird me out, though I never fully understood why since Max didn't really use him all that much. When he did, he was much more ruthless

Ben: He forced his way out of my Omnitrix five years ago and caused us a whole bunch of issues that led to me getting aliens like the ones outside. We stopped him at every turn, but he always bounced back

Kyoka huffs and runs a hand through her hair "I remember the last time we fought him, we thought he was gone for good." She covers her face "God, were we wrong"

Mina: But it's extra freaky now. The last time we beat him, he was basically sealed back in the Omnitrix

Aizawa: So, he's escaped again

Ben: He shouldn't have. Grandpa or I would've noticed

Aizawa: Try to turn into him now

Ben: I try to use him as little as possible in fear of him going out of control again

Aizawa: If he's no longer there, then it shouldn't be a problem

Ben lowly groans and activates the Omnitrix, which leads Kyoka and Mina to look at him like he's lost his mind. Ben locks onto Ghostfreak's icon and sighs before unlocking the core

Kyoka stops him from pressing down on it and shakes her head with a scared look on her face

The teachers closely watch the exchange of looks while most of the other students give the trio concerned looks
