A, the prince/ss in line for the throne. B, son/daughter of the head of royal guard.
The two grew up together, just having fun. But once A turned 9, the royal training begun and B started training to become the royal guard.
Slowly, as the years passed, the two started to drift away until they both turned 15, where B is assigned to be A's guard. B followed them everywhere, listening to every word they say. B started falling in love but they couldn't say anything.
On the day A turned 16, it was announced they were betrothed to marry the prince/ss of the neighboring kingdom.
B is heart broken. But couldn't say a word.
