Adira

I was so happy when I found my family. It was hard believing that Cassie was a child of Ares, but then again, it wasn't at the same time.

They, as I predicted, were in our Ranger. All of them except Corey, who was already at camp, due to living at his own house (with his wife, an unclaimed demigod).

Mariana, Cassie, Brenna, Asher, Brett, Noah, and lastly, Matthew.

Throughout the night, we made our way to camp Half-Blood. I thought about how Matthew maybe couldn't get past the border, but somehow, he easily got through, without being a child of a god... maybe it's because of his heritage. I mean, he's a descendant of Ares and Hermes.

When we finally made it, we drove our vehicles through the strawberry fields. It was easily 7:00 at night, so most people were having free time, playing at the tetherball court or volleyball.

But, when two loud, mortal vehicles are driving in a field of strawberries, yeah, it seems off.

A bunch of people gathered around us at the Arena. Chiron, Corey and Annabeth led the pack, and Matthew was crying his head off. I carried Carlos, pleading for help. "Adi!" Annie yelled. "Please tell me that's not your blood!"

Besides being a child of Athena, she was really stupid when it came to common sense sometimes. Maybe the twenty year old, half-way asleep (or dead).

"CARLOS!" Corey yelled, immediately running towards his little brother.

"Please, help my brother! He needs some ambrosia and nectar! Apollo's cabin can help!" I yelled, as Corey helped me carry him.

"Adiraleise, who did this?" Chiron asked, as Corey and I quickly carried Carlos towards the Big House. Before I could answer, someone else did.

"Phillip Lancaster did. He was there already. I couldn't protect them like you asked, Chiron. I'm sorry," Ginny said. I turned around, and there she was, looking embarrassed.

"I'm sure you did your best, child. But now, we need to get your nephew healed and patched up."

"Wait, who is this?" Brett asked, helping me carry Carlos.

"Our aunt," I answered. "Long story."

I rushed with Carlos in my arms. My face must've been covered in blood, because everyone was staring at me in disgust or fear, like I'd just done a murder.

Mumbles were over the crowd, either asking "who's the women? What's a baby doing here? Why does Adi look like she almost killed her brother?"

But it didn't matter. We rushed Carlos to the Big House so Chiron could help heal him.

"Adira, your forehead," Mariana said, motioning to my cut forehead. Though she was only 11, she looked so much older and mature. She didn't have a high-pitched, squeaky voice anymore. She had a normal voice.

"I-It's fine, Mari. I'll patch it up inside."

It was a very crazy day after that mischief. Carlos was mostly healed, but he was still very sore. He didn't want to talk much, but when he did, it was little things, such as, "thanks!"

His new fiance, Melanie, a child of Demeter, visited him a bunch of times during the next hour, while I sat beside him, making sure he was okay. The past day had been hectic. And to think, the day started out with me making out with my boyfriend on the beach, and over that time, so much had happened. I met my presumed-dead aunt, figured out my adoptive step-mom was a child of Ares, my dad beat my best friend/brother, and then found a path through the woods that led to my summer camp. Crazy.
