Summary: What if Randy and Sidney ended up getting together at the end of the Woodsboro massacre and go on an official date right before going off to Windsor College.
Warnings: None! This one is a fluff!
Sidney anxiously paced around her room, looking everywhere and anywhere in her room for the slightest thing. To say that she was still traumatized from the past couple weeks would have been an understatement. Even with the several months of counseling and prescriptions, she cannot forget losing people she loved, especially almost losing Randy.
Speaking of which, *ding!* , the doorbell rang signaling Randy's arrival. After the massacre Randy finally had the guts to ask Sidney Prescott out on a date, well sort of. It was Sidney's idea at first and then one conversation led to another and then soon enough the two teens agreed to go on a date to the local county fair tonight.
"You can do this, it's what they would have wanted.", Sidney sighed to herself grabbed her belongings and headed downstairs to the front door. There he was, in his green graphic t-shirt and blue pants with of course, a bouquet of red roses.
"Hi Sidney! Wow, you look beautiful...oh! I um- got you some flowers!", Randy was obviously just as nervous as Sidney was with his words stumbling over and deep red cheeks. Sidney thanked him and blushed as well smelling the roses, they smelled lovely.
"You're not so bad yourself, they're lovely Randy. You wanna come inside? I can show you how to take care of them if you want.", she signaled Randy to come inside to the kitchen. She brought in a clear vase and put in some tap water and placed the roses inside of them. Randy just watched in awe, he could not believe he actually got the girl.
Randy was just stuck in his thoughts for a good while just looking at Sidney, until he was snapped out of it when she asked him one question.
"So, hows the Blockbuster sales going?", she asked with a small smile awaiting a response.
"Oh, well rom-coms are really selling well right now. Along with action films and kids movies. My manager wanted to give me a raise, but I had to turn it down cause of college.", he said moving closer to Sidney while his hands were motioning the genres earning a chuckle from the brunette girl. After a couple more sentences, the two decided to head on out to the fair.
Once the two got there, they didn't know what to do first! There was food, rollercoasters, ring tosses, cotton candy, and a ferris wheel. Randy wanted to do the ferris wheel last, so he decided to do the ring toss first in which he won Sidney a stuffed bear. Turns out there were a lot of these types of games at the fair, so poor Sidney had a whopping 8 stuffed bears in her arms. Now by this time it was very dark with a first quarter moon, so they were mainly relying on the streetlights to guide their way throughout the fair.
"Hey Randy, can we drop these off in the car or something, my arms hurt..", she said with a strain in her voice. Randy immediately noticed and took all 8 bears and headed to the car to drop them off. However, when they tried to reenter, they weren't able to because of safety protocols in Woodsboro.
"No shit shit shit! Sidney I'm sorry, look I promise I will make it up to you I promise just please give me two wee-", Randy was then cut off with Sidney's lips smashing into his. He didn't kiss back at first, but once he the two teens exchanged lips for a good two minutes.
"I don't care that we didn't get back in or if you could win me 100 bears, you're perfect to me Randy Meeks. Now take me home, its really dark out here."
"Absolutely m'lady", Randy said draping his arm on Sidney's shoulder and walking towards his car in the parking lot in complete silence. On the way back to the Prescott residence Randy did ask one more question that did make this date go from 0 to 100.
"So since the fair was a bust, I took some movies from the store in case of a plan b, and I was wondering if it would be ok with you if I maybe stayed and watched some movies...with you? IfthatisokaywithyouofcourseSid.", the last sentence he said very quickly making Sidney giggle a lot.
"Yes of course that is okay with me, just as long as it isn't anything with horror in it.", Sidney laughed as they pulled in the driveway while giving Randy a good ole kiss on the cheek. The two of them settled on two action films and made popcorn with soda and multiple blankets and pillows. They cuddled all night with Sidney eventually falling asleep on Randy with him falling asleep right after.

This one is so cute, and they lived happily ever after and Randy totally does not die in Scream 2 :)
