I close the window while putting out my cigarette as i hear my phone ringing.

Missed call from Pia

I swear as i call her back and put the phone on speaker while getting to bed.

Pia : hey

- hey ?

Pia : where are you ?

I roll my eyes at hearing the same thing she always asks.

- I'm at home pia

Pia : come out now, I'm feeling like shit

- why, did you take those pills again ?

Pia : yeah

- i told you not to take them anymore!
I say with an angry tone

Pia : oh shut up just come here

- where are you ?

Pia : same place as always

I hang up as i check my phone to see what time is it
12:30am
I throw the phone on the other side of the bed.

Always the same fucking shit, when she had her fun with her other friends i am the one who has to get her home and deal with her shitty mood.

I stay still for a while before i take the pillow and put it right before my mouth and scream in it.

As i get up from the bed, i call my boyfriend, aiden to tell him that I'm going out before putting on my clothes, checking my keys and everything i need and get out of the house.

I heard my mom calling my name to see where I'm going but right now I can't deal with that too. Sorry mom

I call a taxi before i reach the street and get in .

I hold pia with all the strength i have in me to stop her from falling and pushing her down to the bench

We're in the same fucking park that everything started in

I hear footsteps as i turn back i see parker
Oh no PARKER

i turn back to pia quickly and make her drink from the water bottle that i bought few minutes ago

Parker get closer and say hi as we shake hands

Parker : what's wrong with her again ?

- the same thing as always, she had took pills and had a fight

Parker laughs as pushing pia jokingly
Parker : did you win or not ?

Pia rolls her eyes and take another sip of the bottle before talking
Pia : Shut up

Parker laughs again and looks at me
Parker : where is aiden ?

- it's 1 am where would he be ?

Parker : right

I put out the cigarette in my hand and take pia's hand to make her get up
- ok time to go home

Pia groans as pulling her hand away
Pia : noo I don't want to go home

I roll my eyes and pull her hand harder
- yes but i want to go home and I can't leave you here like this, now shut up and let's go

She stops resisting and get up

I turn back to parker to say goodbye but he cut me off

Parker : i can take you two home

I start to disagree and say we can go ourself but pia takes my hand and pulls me while begging
Pia : yes yes please let's go with him

I roll my eyes and nod
- ok lets go

Parker smiles successfully and turn to his car
