When did this bruise start
Why can't it heal
Why is it so hard
To understand how I feel
You've cast the blame
And put it all on me
Will only accept my shame
No room to disagree
Can you hear me? Can you understand the world's I've just said? Can you still hear me between the thoughts in your head?
Despicable things you've told
Have nested in my brain
Your truth was harsh and cold
Nearly drove me insane
Why do you have no compassion
Why do you fight me so hard
Do I really deserve this aggression
Do I need to be torn apart
Can you hear me? Can you even notice my heart was shred? Can you not hear me between the thoughts in your head?
It's difficult to be around you
Your silence chills the air
I can't agree your truth is true
It doesn't mean I don't care
Once we were so very close
Where did it all go wrong
It feels like some kind of hoax
Or were we never that strong
Can you hear me? Can you not see that I have bled? Can you please hear me. Between the thoughts in your head?
