Lost in Wonder

Sometimes I wonder what would change if I met you earlier.
Or if I liked you later.

Sometimes I wonder what would stay the same if I spoke to you.
Or if I kept your messages.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I led with what I felt.
Or if I never listened to my friends.

Sometimes I wonder what you thought of me when you talked to me on the bus.
Or when you almost called me by that nickname in class.

Sometimes I wonder what you would have said if I stayed right outside the library.
Or would say if I started a conversation with you when you called my name as we went down the stairs.

Would we have been friends?
Would we have at least said hi to each other?
Would we have talked more?
Would we still be in touch?
Would I be able to move on from you earlier?

Sometimes I wonder if you still remembered me.
I wonder if you had a hint or clue that I may have liked you.
Sometimes I wonder if you would have replied if I asked how you felt.
I wonder what you meant by those 5 words.

I know, it was a rejection.
But I still wonder if you knew the depth of my confession.
I know, you were being nice.
But I still wonder if you knew the depth of thought I had about the seaweeds you gave.

I know, you were being reasonable.
But I wonder if you knew the depth of view you gave me when you told me it was stupid.

I was the one telling you to live.
But I misunderstood.
And instead, you made me see life.
You were the one who made me realize my thoughts.

I wonder, would you still remember what you sent?
I wonder, did you delete our chat like I did?
I wonder, should I thank you?

What did I tell you? XD. Tada! Another poem on the same day? Yes!!

Hehehe, this is yet another poem I wrote while thinking about what would happen is actions were done differently... Anyways, I didn't focus much on rhyming or imagery... So not sure how much of a poem you see it as... But here is another poem that I wrote.

Hope you have a blessed day/evening!
