So,i did this poem during my English Literature class. It's a reply to "The Passionate Shepherd to His Love" poem by Christopher Marlowe. My teacher told us how a lot of poet's also made poems that replied to Christopher Marlowe's poem(you should totally read the poem :D).
I wrote this poem in the perspective of the person the poem Christpoher Marlowe made addresed to. I thought about how the person possibly not feeling the same as he poet.
