Given deep scars by life and those closest to her, Taylor has vowed to keep her distance from anybody that might threaten her image as the rough cowboy that doesn't have time for soft things, let alone a soft touch.
Her life is quiet and routine all the same, until one day, the town is filled with angry whispers of a newcomer, a girl who has just discovered her independence and is running away from a man that wants her dead. One of the many things that will tie the two together.
