Jessica felt happy in her new life, when the capital was under attack she didn't care about it and knew a lot of lives would be lost. As for her new husband Jircniv, he was still trying to call her using the phone she gave him.
"Stop calling her!"
Jessica shouted as he glared at her. Jessica then realized what she had done and quickly apologized. The only reason why he agreed to marry her was that she would try to change her way to compete with tsume and that she wanted to prove to him that she was better and can change
He called once again until it picked up
Hello?
"Angel, finally, sorry to keep calling you but I got worried"
He said as Jessica scoffed when hearing her voice
"It's ok Jircniv, but I can't talk right now. I have to... hold on"
In the background, he could hear a baby crying
No no sweetie don't hit, we talked about that. Remember to share
He waited as he could hear sounds of babies babbling and angel in the background trying to stop them from something.
Sorry about that, they took the phone. I'm off to Nazurick right now to see my brother and so i have alot to do right now
"I'm sorry to have bothered you"
It's no trouble at all, I'll get back to you when I can
She said and then Jircniv heard someone in the background asking her a question
No one, gotta go bye
She quickly said and hung up. He looked at the phone before sighing
"She use to talk to me alot before she got kids and now she never wants to talk to me"
He said disappointed
"So what, you have me to talk to. You don't need tsume for that"
Jessica said trying to prove a point
"Angel and I have something in common. She inserted me with new books called magnets so I can find entertainment before bedtime"
He said proudly
"It's called Manga's Jircniv. And besides, she's married and stopped bothering a married woman. Her husband will come after you"
Jessica warned as he chuckled
"Actually she isn't with that demiurge anymore, she's with that vampire prince again. And what's better is they're not married yet"
Jessica rolled her eyes. She already knew how much he likes tsume despite them not being able to be together after she gave him his reason but Jessica was still trying to show him that she was better than her but clearly to him that was never enough
"Let's have kids. You'll be happy then"
She said sitting next to him and trying to flirt but he brushed her off and got up
"You should do your duties"
"Hey, come on, I'm trying to be sexy here!"
She shouted
"I'm not in the mood Jessica"
He told her
"But if I was tsume , you would make out with her instantly without a second thought, you're supposed to be my husband!"
