Age 890 after a catastrophic event that has become known as the Lux-Umbral Paradox. Seven million years have come and gone since the beginning. Three big airships designed for war, armed with giant canons on port and starboard sides of the ships, the top decks made of sturdy oak wood, flying slowly forward. On the bridge, middle airship, the captain stands at the wheel with the bridge crew standing at their stations. The captain, wearing a decorated coat, full of medals from previous battles he took, all made of gold, the coat colored dark green with yellowish-goldish outlines. dark green pants, with black shiny dress shoes. Red hair, green eyes, nicely cut full beard, a giant scar going diagonally across his face between the eyes, over the bridge of his nose, down to the bottom of his jaw, with rough alabaster skin color. He looks to the man standing next to him and speaks clearly but firm "you have the bridge until my return." The man looks at him, salutes him with his right hand held to his chest, hand balled up in a tight fist, replying "aye captain!" loud and clearly. The captain nods and leaves the bridge and makes through the bright narrow hallways to a room with a locked door. The captain takes his keys out of his left pocket and unlocks the door and enters while closing the door behind him. He takes a seat at the desk on the other side of the room, filled with papers and a picture of the captain's family, and pictures hung on the walls around the room and a door leading to his private quarters. He sits down at the desk and puts his left hand on a spherical object floating above a piece of round silver metal and speaks into it, saying "Osmond, Fehmeeda, and Anders, report to the captain's cabin immediately" the captain finished speaking, lifting his hand off the spherical object and placing it on the desk, keeping to his thoughts. The captain's thoughts are interrupted from someone knocking on the door. The captain presses a button on the desk, next to the round silver piece of metal, unlocking the door. As he gets up, he sees a man wearing a black t-shirt, black combat pants and boots to match the rest of the outfit, dark brown hair, eyes with the color of grey border lining a shiny silver, with a warm ivory skin tone, standing up straight, opening the door and walking in. He holds onto the door letting another two people, a man and a woman, enter the room, and closing it shut behind them before going to stand next to them facing the captain. The three all salute to the captain, all bringing their right hands to their chests balled up in a tight fist and then go back to standing at attention. The captain looks at the other man, who has black hair, eyes the color of a bright blue sky, beige skin color with a warm undertone. Wearing the same outfit as the man who opened the door for him but with reinforced leather shoulder pads and kneepads with matching colors as the outfit. The captain then looks at the woman standing next to him, who has long silky black hair, eyes as green as the fields of grass in a big open plain, shining so brilliantly, her skin having a light olive skin tone with a light complexion helping her keep a young appearance. Wearing an aqua blue shirt with long sleeves reaching down to her wrists, a long skirt reaching down to her ankles, matching the color of her shirt with aqua blue shoes, her hair tied up in a ponytail. The captain looks at them from right to left, Osmond on his right, Anders in the middle, and Fehmeeda standing to the left. "At ease you three. I have an important mission you three must be assigned to before our arrival to the city of Alexandreina. A very well fortified city." The captain spoke to the three as he walked around his desk to his right, walking towards the wall as the three followed behind him closely. He waves his right hand in front of the middle picture on the wall and then turns around to face the three close by to him. The wall vanishes from sight revealing a giant floating screen behind it. It turns on showing a map of the city area, appearing as an imperfect but very large circular shape. The entrance being at the bottom. The captain points to it briefly as he starts to speak to them "the city is to well-fortified with heavy anti-air defenses on the walls. We will be shot right out of the sky before we would even get to our mission objective." The captain walks to the other side and continues. "That is where you three come in. You will meet our infiltration unit fifteen klicks south of this entrance here. They will get you inside the city." The captain said pointing at the map south of the entrance towards a well forested area slightly to the side. "You have two objectives. Turn off there auto anti-air defenses and turn off the city's power supply. This way our ships will be able to come in, swiftly strike their military base, severely weakening their military might. Any questions?" The captain finished speaking to them, staring directly in their eyes as if piercing their souls. "I do Captain Casimir." Anders had spoken loud and clear for him and everyone else to hear. The captain nods at him waiting for him to continue with his question. "What about the civilians? They may get caught in the crossfire sir." Anders questioned with a clear concern for them in his voice. "We will issue an evacuation warning via there MagiPhones prior to our arrival. Any who stay we cannot make any promises for." The captain finished explaining to Anders, respecting his concern for the innocent. "Any other questions?" The three-nod no. "Good, now report to the hangar bay. They will bring you to your destination and the infiltration team will lead you to your destinations in the city. Now dismissed!" The three salute the captain as he does back to them and make there exit from the captain's cabin. As the three are walking through the narrow hallways to the hangar bay, Anders looks at the two walking beside him, "I don't exactly have good feelings about this particular mission" he spoke with clear great concern in his voice. "Usually, I'd say it's just the nerves, but I may have to agree with you. Something doesn't feel right here." Osmond replied to Anders comment of concern about the situation. The three take a sharp turn in the hallway and continue down a stairway and start continuing to walk down the narrow halls of the air-warship. "Keep it positives guys. We'll get this done with very little causalities." Fehmeeda said smiling, keeping a positive energy about her. "Ahhh, were it so easy... times like these, people, especially the good, suffer the most." Osmond said to Fehmeeda keeping the tone of voice as stoic as he could muster. "I envy your positive energy Fehmeeda." Anders said to her smiling. The three-finish walking to the end of the hall, open the door and walk through, to enter a large area of the ship where many shuttles, boxes, and equipment are being kept, looked at, and maintenance all around the clock.  They walk up to a shuttle being prepped for launched. The shuttle looking similar to the air-warship they are in, on a smaller scale, equipped with two auto canons in the front of the shuttle, right under where the pilots would be sitting. The side slides open towards the rear, revealing a small square room able to fit about eight people inside. A man wearing a white one-piece flight suit, and black combat boots. He has black hair, brown eyes, and tan colored skin with a warm undertone and decent complexion, comes from the front where the pilot's seat is at. "Hey everyone. You about ready to take off?" the man asked them to be double sure before departing. "Aye, we should be ready. We won't be able to carry weapons through the gates anyways." Anders said, knowing that they are going to be checked upon arriving at the gates. "What should we call you?" Fehmeeda asked curiously. "I am Volante Chevalier. Best damn pilot all across these lands. But please, you can just call me Volante." He replied with pride clear in his voice. He continues "welcome aboard my shuttle. I will take you to the infiltration unit waiting for you with haste; as soon as everything is finished here." Volante told the three with confidence. He exits the shuttle and walks to the rear side while Anders, Osmond, and Fehmeeda enter the shuttle and take their seats. Volante halts at the rear side of the shuttle, watching 2 engineer crew members legs move about as their top half of their bodies are under the slightly lifted shuttle. They move themselves out from under and help each other up looking at Volante. One scratching the back of his head as he starts to speak, "everything should be ready and good to go" he spoke clearly, looking directly at Volante. The other engineer nods in agreement. "Good, very good, now take care you two." Volante said to the two before turning around and heading back inside of the shuttle to take the pilot's driving seat on the left side of the shuttle. The three sitting in main room of the shuttle watching the pilot press very specific buttons, one closing the side sliding door to the shuttle, sealing it shut. "This is Ensign Chevalier in shuttle three, ready to depart the hangar bay, over." Volante spoke into the microphone after he finished his pre-flight checks. "Roger. Opening hangar bay doors now, you are cleared for departure. Come back to us safely, over" the man from the microphone replied. "Will do, see you boys soon, Chevalier over and out." Volante spoke into the microphone as the shuttle's engines turn on, hearing it roar as the hangar bay doors are now fully opened with the bright morning sunlight shining into the hangar bay. Volante carefully pilots the shuttle out of the hangar bay and leaves the ship, increasing its speed as they get further away from the three air-warships slowly flying forward above a heavy forested area. "It's going to be a little bit before we arrive at our destination, so make yourselves comfortable." Volante told the three in the back as the shuttle flies off into the green horizon.
