Despite taking time off and changing up and trying different writing methods(which is just me using expanding vocabulary usage to write and to spice things up and maybe over explaining certain parts), fights scenes are still not my strong suit haha! But anyway hope you all enjoy and let me know if you like how I've written this or I should go back and try and simplify my writing?

It had been several days since Felicia Hardy joined his school and her presence had been... interesting to say the least, at least in (Y/N)'s opinion. Felicia seamlessly integrated herself into his small circle of friends, although it wasn't particularly extensive, given that Gwen was his sole friend and the only one he had his whole life. Sure he has his fellow Titan members but he hasn't spent much time with them to truly consider them friends since he was practically forced on the team and at most they feel more like acquaintances. Though he has warmed up to them after some time, especially after their first mission together but still kept to himself and simply watched his team enjoy their time, feeling a bit of an outsider at times. Of course, since he's going to be on the team, he told himself he should probably ease up and maybe get to know them some more so his time at the base is less awkward.

Not only did Felicia decide to join, more like force herself into his social life, but she also took an immediate interest in him, which was still quite shocking for (Y/N), to say the least. Even when she hung out or talked to other people at their school, essentially being quite popular in such a short time, she would inevitably prefer to hang out with the duo, especially during lunch. One thing (Y/N) still noticed was Gwen's apparent disdain for Felicia, though she did manage to tolerate her presence, and (Y/N) himself didn't seem to mind Felicia's company at all... at times. It doesn't help that Felicia is aware of Gwen's feelings for the boy and messes with her every chance she gets, by throwing her body at the boy or openly flirting with (Y/N) which normally does the trick as it flusters the boy as well so she's pretty much killing two birds with one stone. But other than her constant flirting with him and messing with Gwen, he enjoyed her company not because she was genuinely attractive and always flirted with him, which was the one thing he could live without, but because it felt refreshing that he had someone else to talk to outside of his hero life and Gwen.

Speaking of his hero life, it's been relatively quiet, to say the least, for the young spider-slinging hero in the past few days. Apart from dealing with petty crooks and minor thefts, there hasn't been anything particularly intense or noteworthy happening during his nightly patrols. This lack of criminal activity prompted him to shorten his patrols, and call it a night and take the time to rest, hang with his little sister, or anything he can think of that would be productive. Not only had things quieted down during his patrols, but his time with the Titans had also been rather uneventful. Other than their first mission they hadn't gotten another mission much to the disappointment and annoyance of the team that the only things they've been doing was engaging in repetitive training sessions or idling around the base, a situation Arachnid found a bit annoying as he believed his time could be better spent elsewhere. But with the crime in New York surprisingly calm he really had nothing to do during that time, that was until the past few days, he heard rumors or talks on the police radio that there was some theft running around robbing priceless items from museums, rich individuals like exotic jewelry, paintings, or just anything that had any worth to them. Seeing how things had been relatively calm, Arachnid decided to spend most of his time out on patrol trying to catch this theft, mostly because he was bored and wanted something to do.
