Chapter 11: Furious

Bao Yileng's mother held the information in her hands, becoming angrier as she read.

Her gaze fell on Wen Xiaoxiao's high school graduation photo when she was eighteen, as well as other relevant information about her.

The more she read, the more guilty she felt. She looked up at Ai Chi Shi with eyes that were no longer as affectionate but filled with disappointment and anger.

Ai Chi Shi used to be a cute and likable child, and naturally, Mrs. Bao adored her.

But now, as she looked at the things she had done throughout the years, Mrs. Bao suddenly felt a bit estranged from the girl before her.

And all these things she had done, Mrs. Bao couldn't believe her good friend didn't know about them.

The gentle look in Mrs. Bao's eyes turned icy.

"You can leave! Don't appear in front of me again," Mrs. Bao said, no longer looking at Ai Chi Shi. She was not only disappointed but also angry at her good friend.

Bao Yileng's mother and Ai Chi Shi's mother, Jiang He, were high school classmates, and they were good neighbors before she married Bao's father, so their relationship was naturally good.

But she never thought that her good friend and her daughter would deceive her.

Ai Chi Shi didn't leave and looked incredulous.

"Aunt, how could you do this? You promised me that you would agree to me being with Yileng. Why aren't you keeping your word?" Ai Chi Shi questioned Mrs. Bao, her voice carrying a hint of hostility.

She never thought that her actions would be exposed.

Mrs. Bao suddenly understood why her son no longer liked Ai Chi Shi and why she also began to dislike her.

She hated being deceived and played around with. Without a doubt, Jiang He and Ai Chi Shi had committed this error.

Would she forgive them?

"No..."

"She won't forgive you."

Mrs. Bao's face had calmed down as she read everything Ai Chi Shi had done in the files.

She tossed the files over and said, "Take a look for yourself."

Ai Chi Shi opened the files, and her face turned pale.

Looking at Mrs. Bao, she explained, "Aunt, this isn't true. It's not true."

As she spoke, she ran up to Mrs. Bao, tugging at her sleeve as she defended herself.

Her eyes showed fear and panic as she tried to hide it, but it didn't escape Mrs. Bao's eyes.

Li, the butler, walked in from outside, respectfully saying, "Madam."

Mrs. Bao looked at Li and said, "Escort this young lady out and never let her in again."

Li, accompanied by two others, escorted Ai Chi Shi away from Bao Yileng's mother.

"Let go of me! Aunt, you have to believe me, it's not me," Ai Chi Shi argued, showing no signs of acknowledging her mistakes.

Mrs. Bao no longer looked at her, her tone calm and lacking any indication of emotions, saying, "Throw her out."

Afterward, the butler led Ai Chi Shi outside.

The living room became quiet, appearing empty.

Both her sons didn't live at home. The eldest, like his father, enlisted in the military, and the second son went into business. Only she remained at home.
