I walk from the shower with my towel wrapped around me as I pass my teammates.

I get to my locker and grab my clothes, drying off before I put on my underwear.

I check my phone and see a text from Kenzie and I immediately smile when I see it.

"Ohhh boy, what's that smile all about?" Cooke asked.

That's the smile you get when you finally have sex with the girl you've been crushing on for awhile.

I look at him. "I'm happy we had a good practice."

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah right... I know that smile. That's the smile a man gets when he's thinking about his girl" He said.

I don't even try to hide it. "Yeah you're right... It's still new."

I don't want to say much more because Kenzie and I haven't talked about if we wanna tell the world just yet or not.

I mean we'll obviously tell our family and friends, but we'll probably hold off on going public.

Cooke is married to our physical therapist Marissa.

They've been together for 10 years now and still going, he's head over heels for her and it's refreshing to see a guy on a pro sports team to be all about his wife instead of cheating on her.

"No problem, well I better get going since I wanna see my girl before she gets busy" He said dropping his towel in the basket and walking out of the locker room.

I think I'll do the same.

Getting anxious to see my girl I quickly put on my clothes and head to the second floor where her office is.

My stomach clenches with anticipation as I get closer to her office.

I would get like this before, but now that we've confessed our feelings and had sex it's even more intense.
