"Its been a long night huh?" One of the cops laughed walking past Database's desk

"Yeah, I'm almost off though" he said

"That's good, kids most likely miss ya" said the cop

"Yeah" database looked at the family photo on his desk

After a bit of quiet he got up to talk to the Chief, when he went into the office he wasn't there 'most likely at the bathroom or something' and left

At one of the desks the phone started to ring and database went answer "hello?"

'h-hello please, please send help" a lady cried out

"Ah- oh what's your name and what's wrong?" He asked

"M-my husband his name is zack a-and his villain name is...is dusk or duskness" the lady said "m-my name? My name is Mary, Mary Divil"

"I'm sorry you're married to a villain?" I asked

"Yes but that's not the point well kinda you see we have a kid a-and I didn't know this but when his friend uh- uh Victor Rasmos comes over they... They do experiments on my kid I just saw the room and I think he does it when I'm not here so with or without the friend he hurts my kid" The lady explained

"Okay are you and the kid safe?" I asked

"I am, but he's still in the house and I can't get back in he locked everyway in and my stuff is there a-and I need to get my child please" the lady begged

Soon the chief came over and I mouthed "get everyone ready" and he nodded

"We are on our way Mary" I said

(Database's pov)

Everyone was now at the home

"Kick the door down" I said and so two cops went and did it

I walked in after them "look around I'm going the room"

They nodded, one stayed downstairs while me and the other went upstairs

I walked to the lect where room was and kicked the door

"ARMS UP!" I yelled

Duskness aka Zack turned around, I noticed a child with black and white hair, he had bandages on his arms and legs, he was crying

"Step away from the kid Zack" I demanded

"And give up my perfect experiment? I don't think so" he Grabbed something from his pocket and threw it down, the room was filled with pitch Black fog

"WHAT THE HELL" I yelled and ran around the room, I grabbed someone... I grabbed Zacknand threw him into my I believe was a wall

When the fog weny away I noticed the kid was gone I turned to Zack "where is the kid?"

"I used my quirk to shadow him away, you won't be able to find him" he smiled

I cuffed Zack and took him out of the room downstairs and then outside

"Oh couse your the one that fucking called the cops" he looked at Mary

"Don't talk to her" I said as I handed him off to another cop

Mary looked around then at me"w-where is he?"

I took a deep breath "you husband used is quirk to send him away somewhere.... I don't know where but I will be on the look out, do you have people to say with?"

"Yeah... I do" she said

"Best you get far from here" I said

"I had planned moving" she said

"Best you do that" I said

"M-my kid" she cried

"We will do what we can" I put my hand on her shoulder

Some family started to show up to grab her and help with her stuff, since the house wasn't her's

I had gotten home and told Isabel what happened, she said she would take care of the house and stay downstairsnto give me some space

I gave her a kiss and thanked her before going up to our room

Once I was there I sat on the bed and called Venus

"Angela?" They answered

Tears went down my face "can I vent to you?"

"Of course, what happened?" They asked

I cried as I told they what happened, I've never been good with seeing this shit happen to kids ever since me and isabel planed on having some, its terrifying to think about if my kids were in the position

Venus comforted me for a bit, we other hung up since they needed sleep, so Isabel came in and layed in bed ee talked more abour what happened

She also comforted me and we went off to sleep

Wherever that kid is, I hope he's okay
