"So~" Says blake with a smug look on her face
"So?" I asked
"You and Shino?" She says
I blush and look away "w-what about me and Shino?"
She backs up a bit "well the two of you dating of course!"
Sapphire spits out her water "YOU AND SHINO AND DATING!?"
I put my head down on the table "y-yeah"
Nico laughed "well congrats" and he ate more of his fries
"Thanks" I lift my head back up to eat more of the food
"So spill the tea!" Blake slams down her hands onto the table
"There isn't much, we just shared a kiss at our birthday party" I say and take a drink of lemonade
"I mean I know it was a birthday gift but what came to it?" She asked
"We were talking about gifts and how we couldn't find one for each other" I explain "now can I eat my food in peace?"
"Nothing else?" She asked
Shizu walked over with their Tray of food "what are we talking about?"
"Nothi-" "Artemis and Shino dating" Blake interrupted
"Oh? I didn't know, congrats" they say
"Thanks but uh- Blake?" I say
"What's up?" She asked
"If Shino talked to you about it then you should know we want to be the ones to tell people" I say "and by that I mean if it gets brought up or needs to be known"
"Yeahhh I was gonna say" Sapphire says
"I'm just happy for my best friend" she says
"I understand but can we talk about something else? We have been talking about it for awhile" ask
She sighed "fine I guess"
I give her a nervous smile when Sapphire looks at their phone in shock and fear
Soon everyone gets a notification and we all look at our phones
"Oh..that's not good" says Nico
"A JAIL BREAK?" I shout
"W-we don't need to worry the heroes can take care of it" Shizu says trying to calm everyone and themself down
"I- wait Sapphire isn't one of them your-" "my dad" they finished my sentence
"Who the hell are these other people? Zack? God who names their kid Zack?" Blake questions
"Zack isn't the worst name out there" says Nico "plus I don't think that's important"
"Yeahh" I say
"Do we tell the teachers?" Asks Shizu
"They most likely already know" Sapphire says with their head in their hands
I'm patting their back trying to comfort them "you will be fine, the teachers won't let Victor any where near the school"
"I-I know, its just knowing he's out there" they say
"That's understandable" Nico says
"Hey, if he tries to do anything to you are Kiyo we will stop him!" Shizu says
Sapphire laughs and smiles "thanks"
"What do you want to do?' I asked Sapphire
"Can we just go on a walk or something? I want to clear my head of this" they get up from their seat
"Sure" I say
The rest of us get up throw away our leftover food and leave the cafeteria
"Lead the way" says Nico
Sapphire smiles and starts walking and the rest of us follow and we just talk while walking around the and school
