As we walk into homeroom we make our way to the far left corner of the room and we both take a seat next to each other
"This will be torcher" Quinn says with a huff
"Then let's make it fun" I convince with a small smirk on my face
"Fuck yea" Quinn says now exited
The teacher starts attendance while playing a guitar
"Wtf" I whisper to Quinn quite as she try's not to laugh
He starts calling out names
"Anna Kone?"
"Present"
"Brandt Jackson"
"President" Brandt shouts trying to be funny, everyone starts laughing and I just side eye him
After a few more names I hear
"Madison Bailey" the teacher calls out
"Here" I say as I see almost everyone turn there heads to me I just ignore them because I don't have time for that
"Bailey.. Bailey you know that's me nieces name" he starts as I cut him off
"Nice to know?" I say while Quinn starts laughing next to me
"Ok everyone I have your locker assignments" the teacher calls out as the bell rings
Me and Quinn walk out and see a bunch of papers that say "Dustin loves Maya" and "Brandt loves Maya"
Me and Quinn share knowing looks and go to find out lockers
"There fucking assholes" I say as I open my locker
"Who are assholes" I hear someone say from behind me. I turn around and see Dustin standing next to me
"You and Brandt, this little 'prank' isn't fucking funny" I say using air quotes
"It wasn't my idea it was Brandt's, I didn't even know I was in it until like 30 minutes ago" he says trying to convince us
"What ever, what do you even want" I say unamused
"I just wanted to say that I look really pretty today ma" he says looking me up and down
'Did he just call me ma' I think while blushing lightly
"Oh um thank you" I say giving him a slight smile
"Here" he says as he grabs my wrist and writes his number on it with a pen
"Call me tonight" he says with a smirk
"Maybe" I say as he walks away
"OMGGG" Quinn whisper yells to me while she's holding onto my arm
"What the fuck just happened" I say in disbelief

We're now sitting in the girls locker room listening to the pe teacher while whisper to eachother
"I can't believe that you and Dustin are like flirting" Quinn says joyfully
"I don't know if I'd call it flirting I mean I'm still not over last year he was such a dick so I'm not calling him tonight" I say rolling my eyes in pettiness
"Ugh whatever, I know you still have a crush on him" Quinn says elbowing me
"I do not shush" I say elbowing her back
