The room filled with the aromatic scent of coffee, and there was light chattering that filled the wooden room. Welcoming and warm, the cafe on the corner of the street, unassuming to all, seemed like a home to regulars. Pastries filled the glass displays where children drooled over. Soft music played in the background, complimenting the atmosphere of the comfy store. Wood decorated the store, along with the complimentary flowers that were sure to smell nice if smelled from up close. Local goods sat on display, waiting for a home. The chairs were made of wood and a soft fabric, while the table seemed entirely made of wood. The chalkboard that displayed the menu was classy, perhaps a bit old fashioned. The barista looked up from grinding cookies, then smiled warmly, inviting the customers inside. Yes, this cafe was, for a lack of better words, home.
