"Call Jere and figure out where he's parked," I say to Belly as we pull into Brown "Okay," She says before pulling her phone out and calling him 

"Hey, um, We're here where are you parked?" I hear her say while I drive toward the main parking places "Okay, sounds good," She says before pulling the phone away from her ear and turning it off 

"He said just to park anywhere and that he'd meet us by the main doors for Conrad's dorm," Belly says and I nod before driving toward an empty parking spot I see 

Once I park we get out of the car and I lead the way toward Conrad's dorm "We should stop and grab some coffee, I'm sure Jere is thirsty," Belly says 

"Okay," I smile before switching my directions and heading over to a coffee stand. We order our coffee and to our luck, it was less than two minutes before our drinks were handed to us

"Hey," Belly says to Jeremiah once we caught up to him "Hey guys," he smiles and Belly hands him his drink and he thanks her for it "Okay so I've never been to his dorm and I assume neither has Belly so lead the way,"  Jeremiah says and I nod before walking in front of them 

I make my way up toward his dorm while they trail behind me and I'm hit with memories of Conrad and I walking up these stairs with smiles on our faces. I don't think I've ever laughed or smiled with anyone the way I have him, and I don't think I ever will. 

"This is it," I say to them when we reach his door "Yeah," Jere says before knocking on the door but it opens 

"Hello?" He says while walking into the room, Belly and I follow behind him. I sigh once I fully enter the room and feel my heart skip a beat "Hey, look, his bed is made," Belly says trying to make me laugh but it doesn't work 

"Whoa. Excuse me. This is my room," A voice behind us says so I turn around to be met with Conrad's roommate "Hey, Trusky," I say to him 

"Yo, Tate, how have you been," He says looking toward me "Good," I say giving him a half smile "Hey, man, I'm Conrad's brother. We talked on the phone earlier," Jeremiah says and Trusky turns his attention toward him 

"Oh, yeah, Jeremiah right?" He says while they shake hands "Yeah," Jere says with a smile 

"Uh, Connie's not back, is he?" Jere says "Uh, I haven't seen him since Thursday afternoon," Trusky says "Did anything happen before he left?" Belly asks

"He got into it with somebody on the phone. Like, he was yelling and shit," Trusky says while rubbing lotion onto his hands "And then he just took off? Do you have any idea who he was yelling at?" Jeremiah says quickly

"I don't know, bro. The government who's surveilling us through our devices as we speak," Trusky says. Anytime I would visit Con and Trusk was here, he was always telling me about his conspiracy theories about how the government was always watching us and he even had me convinced for some time that the government was watching me through my phone. 

"Is that the last time you heard from him?" Jere asks "No. He texted me this morning saying that he was gonna miss bio lab and asked if I could take notes. I'd be annoyed, but I spent this whole year copying off of his shit, so I can't really complain. Y'all feel?" Trusky says while laughing slightly 

"Mm. Would you mind just, like, trying to call him from your phone and seeing if he answers?" Belly says while scratching her head "Yeah, for sure," He says before pulling out his phone

"Trusky, did I leave my sweater in here?" Some girl says while entering the room "Uh, I don't... One sec, I don't know," He says while putting the phone up to his ear

"No. Straight to voice mail," Trusky says while lowering his phone "But Sophie might know where Conrad went. They're tight," Trusky says and I bite the inside of my cheek 

"Hey," She says to us and I roll my eyes "Hey, Sophia, um, you wouldn't happen to have any idea where my brother disappeared to?" Jere asks 

"Um... I think he said he was going to hang out with his cousin by the beach," She says and we all look at each other "Alright, Tate, Belly, let's go," Jeremiah says with a sigh

"Oh, you're Tate?" Sophie says "Yeah, why?" I ask her "Because when you and Conrad broke up he fell into like a depression, and wouldn't hang out with me," She says and I just stare at her 

"Uh, I-I don't think that was because of me," I say while looking down "No, yeah, it definitely was," Trusky says 

"Like he was always looking at your picture on his phone, and was just so mellow," He says and I nod not knowing what to say "Uh, anyways when you guys find him, tell him that he has to be back for this bio final on Thursday or he doesn't pass the class," 

"Wait, seriously?" I ask "Yeah," Trusky nods 

"Okay. Um, we'll grab some of his stuff," I say while looking at Belly and Jere and they both nod. I walk over toward his desk to grab his computer while Jere and Belly look for his textbooks "Okay, let's go," Jere says while he and Belly carry books in their hands

"Good luck," Trusky says while we all walk out of the room "Thanks," I say with a smile 

"Okay, Belly and I will drive behind you?" I say to Jeremiah while we put Conrad's books in his car "Yeah, sounds good," He says before getting into his Jeep and shutting the door
