"Jere just texted and asked if we wanted to stop at Rosie's for some food," Belly says breaking the silence we had been sitting in for about ten minutes since our conversation ended. We were both too distraught over worrying for Conrad we couldn't even listen to music 

"Yea sounds good to me," I say with a smile "Okay he said just to follow him," She said and I laugh 

"What is so funny," She says confused "I have already been following him this entire time,"
 I say with a slight laugh and shaking my head 

It wasn't long before we reached Rosie's and we both parked. Belly practically jumped out of the car after telling me how much she missed Rosie's pie. As soon as I stepped out of the car the first thing I did was stretch 

"You coming?" Jere yelled to me as he and Belly were practically already ordering "Yup coming," I said walking over toward them 

"Okay well, I think I'm going to get blueberry. What do you want?" Belly said while turning to look at me "Uh, I'm not really hungry so I don't want anything," I say with a smile. The thought of just seeing Conrad again has had my stomach in knots all morning and I know if I ate something it'd only make my stomach hurt worse.

"You sure?" Jere asked "yea, just not feeling the greatest right now," I say while leaning on the side of the wall 

"You okay?" Belly says concerned "yea just nerves is all," I smile "Okay, well if you want I can drive the rest of the way," She said

"Do I trust you not to crash my car?" I joke "No, she is the best driver because she had the best teacher," Jere flaunts 

"Okay, well then if Jere taught you then I really don't want you driving my car," I say and Belly laughs "Hey! I am not a bad driver," Jere says defensively 

"You started to swerve a bit back there," I said tilting my head "That's because I dropped my phone under my feet," He says and I laugh 

"Hm, sure okay," I say sarcastically "But it would be amazing if you drove, Bells, I need to take a nap," I laugh

"Belly?" We hear a voice say from behind us "Nicole!" Belly says before rushing over toward her

Jere and I both follow behind Belly and walk over toward Nicole "Hey, Tate," Nicole says with a warm smile before bringing me in for a hug "Hi, Nicole," I say returning the smile 

"Jere, I am so sorry to hear about your mom," Nicole says sympathetically to Jeremiah "Thank you," He says with a half smile and I can tell he doesn't want to talk about his mom right now

"Hey, uh, you should go order," I say to Jere "Yes, you're right," He says while turning toward me with a smile 

"Belly, how are you and Cam doing?" Nicole asks "Uh, we actually broke up a couple of months ago, the distance just got too hard for us," Belly says with playing with her fingers and looking down

"Aw, I'm so sorry to hear that. You guys were really cute together," Nicole says "Thank you," Belly says 

"Tate, how are you and Conrad?" Nicole says turning to me and I take a deep breath before replying "Uh, we broke up," I say "I'm so sorry to hear that," She says and I nod with a smile 

"How have you been?" Belly asks Nicole "Have you seen any of the debs?" 

"I've been good, I saw a Marisa the other day but apparently GiGis dad got caught in some insider trading thing and they had to sell their house," Nicole says 

"Oh, wow," Belly says slowly "Yea, really awful. Shayla's in Europe with her parents all summer, so the gang's broken up," Nicole finishes 

"Uh, I'm gonna go talk to Jere, I'll be back," I said not wanting to endure any more of this small talk

Once Jere and Belly got their pies we headed the rest of the way to cousins, it wasn't far so I really didn't get to take a good nap but at least it's better than nothing. "Hey, we're here," Belly says while shaking my shoulder and waking me 

I rub my eyes as we pull up to the house. Just seeing it brings back so many memories and suddenly I'm brought back to last summer.

Last Summer.

"Con, wake up," I say while shaking him. All the memories from earlier this morning hitting me at once and a smile creeps onto my face "Hmm," He says while turning 

"it's like twelve pm," I say softly with a laugh "So what," he says with his eyes still closed 

"You're mom is probably wondering where we are," I laugh just knowing Susannah is gonna have a field day with this. "She already knows we are in here, She came in about two hours ago wondering where we were," He says 

"You were awake two hours ago?" I ask him "Yea, only because she woke me up," He says while snaking his arms around me and pulling me down to meet his body and I giggle as he hands tickle my sides 

"I wish I could wake up to you every morning," He says and I smile before leaning down to kiss him and he kisses back instantly. He uses his arms to pull me on top of him without breaking the kiss

"As much as I love kissing you. I need food," I laugh and so does he "Me too," He says before leaning up to kiss me one more time 

"Let's go," I say with getting off of him and stepping onto his cold wood flooring "What are you in the mood for today?" He asks while walking up beside me 

"Literally anything, just food," I say and he laughs "Got it," He nods before grabbing his keys 

"We are going to get ice cream," He says and I look at him weird "For breakfast?" I question 

"hey, don't act like we didn't eat ice cream for breakfast like every day when you came down the first time," He says and I laugh recalling the memory and how he begged his mom to stock the fridge with ice cream 

"Oh trust me I remember," I laugh while shaking my head "Okay, let's go," he says while grabbing my hand and dragging me out of his room 

We make our way down the hall and down the stairs into the foyer "Con, is that you?" We hear Susannah ask from the living room 

"Yea," He says while leading us to the living room "Good morning Tate," Susannah smiles at me brightly when we enter the room 

"Good morning," I smile back at her "I knew you guys would get back together," She says with that motherly tone and I laugh slightly 

"You guys make each other happy and I love that," She says and I look at Conrad to see him already looking at me 

"Where are you headed off to?" She says noticing his keys "We were just gonna go get ice cream," He says peeling his eyes off of me 

"Ah, ice cream for breakfast," she says and I can tell she remembered the same thing Con and I did "Well have fun," She says and we say goodbye before heading out the door
