Zhang Xiao, took her bike by her hand and entered a tall building. She couldn't help but think, 'Such a long line. So many rules.'

Just then, a man approached her and greeted, "Ms. Zhang, hello. CEO Mu wants me to take you to the living room. Please come with me."

Surprised by the invitation, Zhang Xiao replied, "Ah... Sure," and followed the man to the living room.

Meanwhile, in another area, Mu Ya and Mu Chen were watching the CCTV footage, and Mu Ya spotted Zhang Xiao. Excitedly, she called out, "Mommy!"

The nanny who was with them offered to carry Mu Ya, saying, "CEO Mu, let me carry her."

But Mu Chen, with a smile on his face and warmth in his eyes, declined the offer, "She wants to see her 'mommy,' we'll let her. I'll carry her."

With Mu Ya in his arms, Mu Chen watched as she pointed at the CCTV, happily exclaiming, "Mommy, mommy..."

Unbeknownst to Zhang Xiao, her encounter with Mu Ya had made a deep impression on the little girl, who now saw her as a loving figure in her life. As Zhang Xiao headed to the living room, little did she know that her day was about to take another unexpected turn.

Zhang Xiao was taken aback when Mu Chen suddenly entered the room, followed by a nanny holding Mu Ya. The little girl called out excitedly, "Mommy!"

Wanting to address the incident from the other day, Zhang Xiao began, "Mr. Mu, about that day..."

But Mu Chen interrupted her and asked her to have a seat, stating, "I invited you here because of something else." This confused Mu Ya, who was still in the nanny's arms.

As Zhang Xiao was about to take a sip of tea, Mu Ya yelled, "Mommy!" with a hint of tears in her voice. Zhang Xiao was surprised by the unexpected display of affection.

Mu Chen nodded to the nanny, who then let go of Mu Ya. The little girl immediately jumped into Zhang Xiao's arms, calling her "Mommy" once again.

"It's you~I'm not your mommy, I'm an aunt," Zhang Xiao gently explained to Mu Ya, trying to be reassuring.

While observing the interaction, Mu Chen pondered how Mu Ya had only recently started saying "mommy," which was unusual for a 1.5-year-old. He wondered why she had developed such a strong attachment to Zhang Xiao after their brief encounter.

Curious about Mu Ya's background, Zhang Xiao asked, "Where's her mother?"

Mu Chen's expression turned serious as he answered, "She got into an accident a year ago and passed away."

Feeling sorry for bringing up a painful topic, Zhang Xiao nervously apologized, "I didn't know."

Mu Chen revealed, "Mu Ya sees you as her mother after meeting you that day. She's been kicking up a fuss because she couldn't see you the past few days."

Listening to Mu Chen, Zhang Xiao couldn't help but admit, "Mu Ya is very adorable. I liked her the moment I saw her."

Mu Chen then got to the point and said, "I invited you here because of her." Zhang Xiao, sensing the gravity of the situation, urged him, "Mr. Mu, please feel free to cut to the chase."

Taking a moment to compose himself, Mu Chen straightened his tie and said, "I'd like you to become Mu Ya's mother." His proposal hung in the air, leaving Zhang Xiao with a mix of surprise and uncertainty about this life-changing decision.
