Married To A Gangster

ONE

My name is Izuku Midoriya, I am one of the top students in all my classes being the certified nerd is what Kacchan always called me. It always bothered me growing up and having to hear all his unfunny jokes and cruel names he'd say but eventually I got over it.

Now here I am standing in the field as everybody else rehearsed for graduation day. Lucky me was graduating with honors, I was very proud of myself and looked forward to continuing my education in college. My dream job was to be a lawyer and I've had my father's support since the day I told him what I wanted to do in the future.

"Izuku" I turned over seeing my best friend Shinsou walking over to me, I looked down at his hands that held the packaging of the cap and gowns "I got you yours, here" "oh thank you shin!" I say taking it from his hands. "Can you believe it? We're finally graduating" "oh I know! Im so excited"

He nodded quietly looking back at the director who was in charge of the ceremony. Shinsou is such a quiet and an unbothered  person, I wonder how we even got along since we're the complete opposite.

Once the day was over we decided to go to my place and hang out there as it would probably be our last day to hang out with each other since I would be leaving for college, Shinsou wasn't really interested in continuing school. Not that he has to worry, he comes from a pretty wealthy family that runs a business of their own, he'll probably get to take their role.

"I'm home!" I say with a smile entering my home with Shinsou who was greeting my father. "Deku? What you doing here?" "Kacchan? I didn't know you'd be here, also I live here why else would I be here?" I told Kacchan who only glared at me.

He's always hot heated and hates me but somehow he still comes around just to see me, kinda weird. Shinsou yawned stretching his arms out as we sat down by Kacchan "so you're finally finishing school huh?" He said "oh yeah, I am" "well what are you doing after that?" "I'm gonna be attending college!"

"One of the best colleges to be exact, UA University" My father said with a smile as he ruffled my head. "Of course you're going there, you have your daddy's money, always filthy rich" "Kacchan, I'm not rich, don't you see where I live?" I say crossing my arms as I pouted "yeah yeah, not rich yet you still go to a privet school, what's next a private college?"

I sighed as he scoffed, "what about you? What are you doing after you graduate?" He asked looking at Shinsou who groaned "I don't know, for sure not college, I don't like school it's so boring and tiring, I'll probably end up working a fast food place" he said making Kacchan laugh while I rolled my eyes.

After having a meal with my two close friends we had went our own separate ways for the rest of the night, I shut the door walking over to the couch taking a seat as my father sat by my side putting an arm over me pulling me close as he rubbed my back "I'm proud of you Izuku, I'm sure your mother would've been proud of you too" he kissed my forehead as I smiled up at him.

My beautiful mother was taken away from my life way too early, I was only 5 when she passed. And although I was small I was able to understand the pain my father went, I'll never forget the time my father cried in his room he doesn't know I saw him as he always made sure to make himself look like a tough man never shedding a tear in front of anybody.

Which is why I'll never forget that rare memory of him.
