Jungkook looks at taehyung who was strolling some steps ahead of him while trembling a little. He have a smudge of mud across his cheek that made jungkook smile, but still the said male didn't inform him

"Here, wear this, sweetheart" jungkook blurted out while wrapping his weathered leather jacket on taehyung who at first shows a little resistance but eventually melts into the warmth of the fabric

"Why did you think you will be able to escape from here knowing how much dense it is" Taehyung looks at jungkook peculiarly, while drawing his eyebrows together at the meaningless question

"So should I just accept being a slave to you, and do nothing. I will escape from here and you can't do anything about it" taehyung exclaims, his chin raising defiantly before looking forward

"You are not my slave sweetheart , why do you think like that"

"You kidnaps me and now, you are imposing your lifestyle on me which I definitely not adore. What else can make me a slave of you if not this" Taehyung snorts before turning to speechless jungkook who seem to be conflicting with him about the  remark

"Did you follow me? " jungkook voicelessly says after a long pause before speeding a little to match taehyung's heavy steps

"Yes"

" I saw someone has provisioned you  some good supplies. This means, it was all planned from some time rather than a attempt to avoid police" taehyung informs boldly without a ounce of fear catching jungkook off-guard

"Yaah, I planned this several days before we took you here. I kinda expect that you and other police officers might know my identity till then" jungkook replies sighing a little, his eyes catching a glimpse of their warm cottage

"Who bring those supplies to you?"

"Yoongi" jungkook replies getting a surprising stare from taehyung

"I don't expect you to really unclose your partner crime this openly and that too to your rival detective"

"What's rival between us sweetheart? I love you and I have been confessing it since the day first! And mostly, i trust you enough to know, you will fall for me very soon--or maybe, you already fall for me" jungkook shows his signature smirk to taehyung who chuckles in return as the fanciful remark before turning toward the cottage

"Get a grip of yourself, lovesick" Taehyung shouts before entering into the cottage instantly disappearing behind the closed door

"That is the issue, I tried but everytime, I fail miserably" jungkook mumbles between his breath before standing infront of the door. He took a deep breadth before knocking few times on the door and entering after a pause

"You didn't wait for me, baby" jungkook says while looking at taehyung who was relishing on hot dumplings that were one of the things that yoongi sends

Taehyung again turned a blind eye to jungkook who squits his eyes toward him but didn't said anything rather he drag a chair across the room and set it beside taehyung before picking one of the dumpling from taehyung plate with his chopsticks and putting it in his mouth

"It is delicious" jungkook compliments before picking another from taehyung who huffed audibly this time

"You should probably thank me, rather than showing me your this brat attitude" jungkook remarked before looking at taehyung who was still ravishing on dumplings

"Thank you for saving me, now are you happy?" Taehyung looks at jungkook smiles on return

"A kiss might make me happy"

"Aren't you going overboard? Draw a line" taehyung responces before picking up another dumpling

"I am kinda limitless in your case, sweetheart " jungkook states while looking at taehyung lovingly who halts a little before visibly shaking his head and again chewing on the food

"If you didn't notice, you are red as tomato. Did you blush because of me" jungkook blurted out of blue, making taehyung look at him with widened eyes before immediately swallowing the dumpling

"I-I didn't. What are you saying" taehyung counters while brushing his back of the hand on his cheeks to feel the hotness which was rising now a little

"I don't know about earlier but surely, now you are blushing" jungkook laughs at taehyungs flushed state who quickly stood up and went toward other room where his mud bed was present

"Sweetheart, are you going to sleep? " jungkook yells but didn't get any response, he sighed before approaching the same room.

Taehyung ignored him again before spreading a blanket and some pillows on that so called bed and then throwing himself on it while wincing a little by the hardness

"I have got something for you, sweetheart" jungkook says while coming toward taehyung who was suddenly perked up by the remark

"What"

"Wait here! let me bring it for you" jungkook says jovially before hoping out from the room, then coming back with a sack filled with something

Taehyung was intrigued, he couldn't help but sit on the bed and watch jungkook tearing the sack. Jungkook opened the sack before bringing a handful of ----- straw out of it

'what straw, did he bring fucking straw for me?' Taehyung was ignited to the moon by watching jungkook emptying the sack and spreading the yellow brownish straw in the floor

"What the fuck is this"

"Straw" Taehyung bit back his irritation at the innocent answer from jungkook, who smiles at him after it

'did he have any knowledge of sarcasm?'

"I can see that too. You say, you were about to give me something but I didn't expect this, this straw" Taehyung grab some straw into his hands and sniffed it to inspect if any animal have pooped on it

"Thank god, atleast he didn't bring the dirty one" taehyung rolls his eyes before throwing the straw down and diverting his eyes onto jungkook who was quite astournished by the expressions

"What"

"Did you sniff it to check if it was pooped by any animal" jungkook says getting a awkward nod from taehyung before jungkook laughs his lungs out

"Take this out, I wanna sleep" taehyung interupts while his heart doing some weird flips again by the innocent laughs of jungkook

"It will help you to sleep, sweetheart"
Jungkook states before picking a bundle of straw and spreading it over the mud bed after throwing the blanket away. He dabbed it few times and then set a thick blanket over it. He motioned taehyung to plop himself on it who hesitantly walks over and sit on it

"Wow, this is soft" taehyung unknowingly says while patting his sides

"I know, I am amazing baby. This is the proof I can keep you safe and sound even if I don't have money" jungkook says before turning around and cleaning the mess, his eyes  unnoticing a small smile that crept on taehyung's face before he plop himself on the soft bed

"Good night, sweetheart" Jungkook exclaims before immediately kissing  on taehyung's forehead who was shocked to even react

"Don't be shocked, I have been doing it for a while now" jungkook grins before dashing out leaving taehyung with racing heart and fluttering beauterflies in his tummy again

'What is this feeling' Taehyung ponders while clutching on his racing heart. He can feel his cheeks reddening, and the part tingling where jungkook touched him
