Taehyung shuffles around uncomfortably on the cemented floor before waking up. His half lidded eyes flutters few times trying to acclimatize with the bright shining light before opening them fully

"Did I fell asleep here last night" Taehyung thought stretching his arms, before standing on his feets while stumbling a little as he regained his balance soon after

"I should check on him" He thought before rushing inside and peeking throught the door gap of his room, before opening it slowly and tiptowing inside

Taehyung looks at the harmless male who was peacefully snoring without any care of the world. His limbs were a little out, while his one arm was clutching on the fluffy blanket pulling it toward his chest wrinkling it in the process.

"He looks so----innocuous" Taehyung mumbles in his breath, before sighing a little as he went towards his shelf pulling out a set of clothes and towel and going toward his washroom

He flipped the pancake before switching off the grinder as he poured the fresh juice in the glass,

"All don--" Taehyung flinches visibly when somebody wraps his arms around his waist from behind before putting thier head on his shoulder

"Jungkook, you scared me"

"We are the only living here, who else could wrap their arms around you" Jungkook says before loosening his grip on his waist as taehyung turned around now looking at the ebony haired male

"That is the thing. You came so clandestinely that it scares me" taehyung replies before diverting his eyes on the pancakes that were almost ready

"I am surprised you cooked me breakfast, sweetheart. What is the reason for this service? "

"I did it out of humanity you can say. You are unwell still. So, it is my responsibility to take care of you like you did for me when I was sick" Taehyung replies as he handed over jungkook his plate

"Who says I am sick. I am all fine" Jungkook protests before sipping on the juice

"Woh, it is delicious. I think, you hate banana shake but I will be flattered to know, you made it specially for me" jungkook teasingly asks getting silence in return for which his expressions become more smug and confident

"I will take that as yes, sweetheart" Jungkook states before munching on his breakfast

"How about we go out" Taehyung blubbered out of blue, he was himself shocked that he spoke those words

"Why, well I don't absolutely abate the idea. It is just, I am surprised that you want to come with me"

"No--i--i mean, you could w--wade around the jungle. You can feel well and will recuperate fastly, that is why I said that" Taehyung stammers, he doesn't know why he was acting impulsive out of nowhere. It wasn't his usual self and he don't know what was the cause of this change

"I understand, you don't have to defend yourself sweetheart" Jungkook chuckles a little before standing up from his seat and walking towards the main door

"Come, let's go"

"Jungkook, look there" Taehyung pointed at the nest of the songbirds, in which some fledges were chirping loudly calling for their mother
