a few years before the sb incident
a short brown haired girl was standing outside of the large busy mall. she lookes at the pizzaplex in awe as she holds onto the hand of her father.
her father chuckles seeing how excited she is. the two walk inside the large building. after the dad was able to locate where they were supposed to enter, the two went in. he had already bought the entry pass online so all he had to do was scan his phone.
cassie was looking around the place when she spotted a plush on one of the stands. it looked to be one of the animatronics that were in the building.
curious, the kid ran over to the plush completely forgetting to stay close to her dad. as she got close to the plush she noticed it was a wolf.
she picked it up and looked at it for a moment before smiling and hugging the plush.
cassie zoned out for a moment, completely forgetting about where she was before she felt a tap on her shoulder. she turned around to see a staff member.
"hey kid. where are your parents?" the staff said, not seeing her parents anywhere nearby.
cassie finally came back to her senses and started to look around for her dad. she pushed through the crouds with the confused staff member following closely behind.
cassie quickly realized that she wouldn't be able to find her dad like this so she made her way back to the less crowded gift shop.
several minutes later
cassie was instructed to stay put as the staff went to go find her dad. she was setting in the lost and found having been stuck in there sense the door was locked.
she was still holding onto the roxanne plush that she had found earlier and was strangely comforted by it.
cassie then noticed a box on the floor and picked it up. she realized it was a wind up gift box and hesitantly grabbed the handle.
"this better not jumpscare me" cassie says as she winds it up. the box opened to reveal a screwdriver.
"what is this doing here?" cassie questions as she holds the object. she then hears voices from the door and quickly starts looking around for another exit.
finally, her eyes settle on a decent sized vent. she grabs her plush and screwdriver as she crawls over to the vent and quickly screws it open.
she quickly exits through the other side of the vent and starts to sprent away from the room.
she finds an empty elevator and gets in, pressing the button to go up. she takes a deep breath as she tries to calm herself down.
the elevator doors open and she is met with a huge open area. she walks over to the rails and admires all the attractions.
before she could do anything else, she hears a shout coming from somewhere behind her.
she looks towards where the loud shout came from and sees that its the staff from earlier. cassie reacts quickly and bults in the opposite direction. she runs towards the closest attraction hoping to outrun them.
after going through a bunch of narrow pathways, she makes it to a large shutter which automatically opens for her as she runs in.
she is stunned for a moment as she looks around, admiring the themed area. (im current loosing braincells and really just want to get this done before my time limit goes off)
suddenly, she hears what sounds like someone talking to themselves. she curiously walks towards the sound.
as she finds where it seems to be coming from, she peeks behind a stack of weels. she softly gasps as she sees who it is.
"your the same as my plushy?!" she says outloud before she could stop herself.
roxy stops goes quite as she hears someone from behind her. "whos there?" she asks turning around.
cassie ducks down, afraid that she would be in trouble. before she could get out of there, she is gently grabbed from behind.
"I found you!" the staff said as they grab cassies hand. the staff stars to drag her away as cassie attempts to get out of their grip.
the confused animatronic notices the struggling child and quickly goes up to them.
"what is going on here?" roxy askes, getting ready to intervene if needed.
the staff stops trying to drag cassie as they look at the animatronic. "well I was trying to help find her dad but she didn't want to stay put." they say, angrily.
roxy thinks for a moment and then notices that cassie was holding a plush of her. "what if I take care of her until you can find her dad?" roxy suggests
"if that's okay with her at least." she hurriedly says, looking at cassie and "smiling"
cassie smiles back and nods as the grip on her arm is released
"fine.. as long as your able to keep her out of harm" the staff says tiredly. cassie runs up to the animatronic and hugs her.
roxanne was surprised at first but quickly hugs back as they are left alone in the raceway.
"so.. why dont we go play some games? if you want we can even use the racetrack" roxy says, letting go of the child.
cassie smiles as she nodds excitedly.
a few hours later
cassie was hugging the animatronic tightly, not wanting to let her go.
"cmon cassie. we'll be back here again" her father says from behind her. roxy ruffles her hair "don't worry cassie! I wont be going anywhere anytime soon." roxanne reassurs the small child.
"you promise?" cassie says, looking up at roxy.
"pinky promise" roxy reasponds
