this was previously its own story but decided to put it here instead

y/g = your gender
y/n was running as fast as they possibly could, tears running across their face as they ran.
they had just witnessed both their parents being brutally murdered but the attackers somehow didn't see the small child. y/n got scared knowing that they would be next if they didn't get out of there.
now y/n saw a large building in the distance. they didn't know where else to go so they quickly ran over to it, tears still streaming from their face.
standing infront of what appeared to be an abandoned mall, y/n noticed some metal stairs and so they started climbing them.
when y/n got to the top, they found a hole in some glass that was covered in newspapers. y/n sigh's, attempting to stop the tears rapidly flowing.
y/n slowly looks around to make sure no one was watching. they hesitantly climb through the hole, landing on a bunch of boxes.
y/n finds themself high up and sees that the inside appears just as abandoned as the outside. they notice that it had tons of graffiti covering the walls along with tons of trash and the only lighting was coming from the window.
they notice that there was a stable looking ladder leading down to the ground level so y/n carefully goes over and climbs down. as they made it to the ground, they start to move away to explore the place.
a loud creaking noise followed by a metal bang game from behind them and y/n quickly turns around to see what it was.
turns out, that ladder had completely detached from its earlier spot on the wall. now y/n was a little worried sense they couldn't turn back now if they needed to.
"guess ill have to find another exit.." y/n mumbles, continuing to look around.
y/n comes across an incredibly dark hallway and immediately backs away from it. "im definitely gonna need some sort of flashlight before I can go further" y/n says.
they see some words on the wall and read them aloud "turn back now?" after reading, they look over to where they entered "a little to late for that" y/n says.
y/n continues looking around and decide to look through a small trash pile. they were surprised to see that they somehow actually managed to find a useable flashlight.
the child smiles, turning on the flashlight and going back over to the dark area.
they walk through and see that they are in what used to be some kind of store. of course it was just as abandoned as the rest of the building which makes them wonder "what happened to this place?" y/n questions sadly
they notice stairs leading up so they quickly start walking up them. when they get to the top, they see that they are now able to see the place they cane from. y/n was about to go up to what seems to be an elevator, until they heard something shifting to their right.
they look towards the movement and see some mysterious red doors. y/n walks over to them and see a bunch of objects blocking the door.
"these shouldn't be to hard to move" they say as they get to work moving the objects aside. it didn't take long before y/n could open the door and walked in seeing a big empty hallway leading to much larger "doors"
as they walk up to the door, it automatically opens for them. y/n was surprised that the door was still able to automatically open but isn't gonna complain.
they are able to see a heavily damaged statue that was practically unrecognizable at this point. y/n walks over behind the statue and notices another similar one sideways on the floor behind it.
y/n goes through a pathway that led to lead to some stairs. unfortunately, the stairs where fully blocked off meaning the only way left was straight.
after going through another large door they see that they are in a large theater like room. y/n points their flashlight around and notices a narrow hallway straight ahead.
y/n sigh's, turning off their flashlight and walking to the hallway. "this is probably just another dead end" they say, walking through the hall.
y/n makes a turn, leading to what appeared to be a dead end. "knew it.." the child says, about to turn around.
"wait a second-" y/n exclames, noticing as poster that seems to be slightly open. y/n walks forward and pulls at the poster.
it easily opens and y/n stairs at the hallway it revealed. the young y/g debates weather or not they should enter before eventually deciding.
"who knows, maybe its a secret exit" they say, walking through the short hallway.
y/n slowly walks into a dark room and they pull back out their flashlight, shining it on the random objects scattered around the room.
"huh? is this some kind of storage room?" y/n questions. little did they know, they weren't alone in the room.
as y/n was looking around the room, large hands wrap around their waste and lift them into the air. y/n screams as they get spun around and are face to face with the one amd only eclipse.
"hello there little y/g. what are you doing here? did you come over here for a slumber party?!" the broken sun animatronic excitedly says as he spins the confused child around.
eclipse gently sets them down as he waits for an answer. "w-well I actually came here to try and find an exit." y/n answers, backing away slightly from the animatronic.
"whats the rush? why dont we have some fun first? you are in the daycare after all." eclipse questions. y/n was still hesitant on weather they could trust him or not.
eclipse realizes that y/n was scared of him. "don't worry.. I mean you no harm. besides, I am incapable of harming a child thanks to my programming." eclipse says gently, lowering himself to be the same hight as them.
"I guess I could stay with you for a bit.. who exactly are you though? y/n ask's.
the sun animatronic seems happy with their answer and stands up straight again. "our names eclipse! what is your name moonlight?" eclipse says kindly.
y/n still wasn't sure if they could trust him fully but decides that they would stay with him for now.
"my mom told me not to tell my name to strangers" y/n answers.
"that's perfectly fine with us! we will just continue calling you moonlight then. now, what what you like to do? we are a bit limited on choices right now but im sure we can find something to do" eclipse says
y/n thinks for a moment before responding "we could draw?" y/n answers to eclipse.
eclipse nods. "I believe there is still some paper and crowns down there." eclipse says, walking closer to y/n he was about to pick them up but then he remembers their earlier reaction.
"is it alright if we pick you up now so we can bring you down to the daycare?" eclipse asks the child for permission.
y/n nods, letting eclipse pick them up. as the where being carefully held, they somehow where already starting to feel safe neer the kind animatronic. they felt like they could trust him.
