Species of another generation

I'm tired of being treated like another species
As if there is some flaw in my code
Like we are not the end results
Of all your sterile day dreams
The bi products of your biohazards
More at home in a zoo than a park
Humanity blurred out at the edges
Despite the streets we take to
For problems you created
And continue to make worse
'Addicted to our phones' you shout
Completely unaware of your own hypocrisy
You take our colors and lights
And shove them into the dirt
Reminiscing of 'the good old days'
When we are the next generation
And you left us with this world
With no land to call home
We are now accountable for it
Before it even falls into our hands
Toddler fists clench at what's left
And all I have to say at the end of the days time
Is that I'm so very tired of it all
