Chapter 3

Sundrop's Pov

I was cleaning when I looked over to check on y/n, but she was asleep.

'If she was tired, she could have told me.'

I went over to her and placed a blanket over her shoulders to keep her warm.
I went back over to keep cleaning as I thought about why she wouldn't tell me she wanted to take a nap.

'I will just ask her later when she wakes up!'

I went over to the next area to clean and waited until it was time to wake up the kids.

I went over to each of the kids and woke them up. I picked up all of the blankets and mats and put them in the cabinet.

"ALRIGHT KIDS YOU CAN GO PLAY UNTILL ITS TIME TO GO!"

I yelled to the kids as they ran off to play. Though the little ones just stayed in the baby play area.i looked over at
Y/n to find them still sleeping.

'Not even my yelling woke them up... she must have been really tired.'

Y/n's Pov

I woke up to find a blanket on my shoulders and the kids already up from naptime.

'SHIT, I FELL ASLEEP!'

I quickly got up and walked over to the sun, which was watching the toddlers.

"Sunny?"

He turned his head to look at me.

"Yes?"

"Sorry I fell asleep!"

"Why are you sorry? You were tired so you took a nap!"

'He wasn't mad? Well he is a kids robot it would probably take a lot to make him mad.'

"Well I don't want you to think that I'm lazy and don't want to do my job..."

"NO NEVER! I UNDERSTAND YOU WERE JUST TIRED! AND YOU CAN NAP ANYTIME YOU WANT!"

"Really it's okay? Shouldn't I be helping you though?"

"Yes but not all of the time! I can manage most of the day by my self!"

"Alright! But next time you can wake me up okay? I want to help you!"

"O-OKAY I WILL!"

'Did he just stutter? Isn't he a robot? Well I guess they did give him real feelings and emotions so I guess he's nervous? Or suprised? Idk why he would be though I just want to help him.."

"Do you know what time it is?"

"YES! IT IS 4:40!"

'So it's almost time for the kids to leave.'

"Okay I'll start cleaning up my desk so I can help you clean the rest of the daycare once the kids leave."

I walked over to my desk and started to put all of the papers in my desk except for the ones I needed to turn in. I put my book in my backpack and pit all of the trash in the trash can. Then I checked the time.

I helped the kids gather their stuff and get ready to leave while Sunny was checking to make sure no one forgot anything. I put all of the toddlers stuff in the baby bags their parents dropped off. I picked up one of the babies and held the other ones hand since they kept running off and it was about time to leave. The parents came in through the door I didn't even know was there.

'I'll have ti enter through there tomorrow instead of going down the slide.'

After all of the kids got picked up I walked over to Sun since the paper said I needed to make sure Sundrop was clean.

"Hey Sunny!"

"YES SUNSHINE?"

'A nickname? Well I guess I do call him Sunny some times so it's only fair I get a nickname too.'

"Do you need to be cleaned? The paper said I have to clean you if you get dirty."

He looked nervous for a second before answering me.

"N-NO! I CAN CLEAN MYSELF THANK YOU!"

'So I don't have to clean him? Well less work for me I guess.'

"Okay! Well I'm gonna head out now so see you tomorrow!"

"WAIT! YOUR L-LEAVING ALREADY?"

"Of course! I have to go home so I can sleep and come back tomorrow."

"OH ALRIGHT! SEE YOU TOMORROW!"

He looked a little disappointed as I turned around and walked to my desk to grab my stuff. I put on my backpack and waved bye to Sun before walking out the door.

'This job isn't actually so bad. I was worried that since I'm working with an animatronic I wouldn't catch a break.
Instead I hardly had to do anything other than sit at my desk. He even let me sleep!
Sunny is actually really nice... but he is an animatronic. Not like we could be real friends or anything.'

I walked out the doors of the Pizza Plex-still no sign of any other workers- and started walking home. It was luckily still a little light outside so I could still see. As I reached my apartment I unlocked the door went in and locked it behind me.

*sigh*' I really need to invest in a car or something.'

I set my backpack down on my kitchen counter and walked to my bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth and hair. I changed into pajamas and went to my bedroom. I checked my phone to see a few texts from bs/f.

I looked over the texts and decided to call him. After a couple rings he picked up.

Y/n:Hey bs/f!

Bs/f: Hey! How was your first day!

Y/n: It was good! Sorry I missed your texts, kids can be a handful sometimes.

Bs/f: Don’t worry I know you were busy!

Y/n: Well I should probably go to bed soon since I have work again tomorrow.

Bs/f: Do you want to hang out sometime? After work? I could come to the Pizza Plex and we could get something to eat!

Y/n: Sure! I'll see you soon! We can plan a day tomorrow! Bye:)

Bs/f: alright! bye :)

*Call ended*

I put my phone down on my nightstand and went to sleep. Luckily today I fell asleep rather quickly.
